  1. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 12:21 PM) MJ's block is pretty ridiculous, and he did it as an old man. LMAO at that video. "Jordan was sick. Not like a sinus infection, but like the kids say."
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 12:04 PM) lol, what's the story behind that reaction? Any idea? This block by Shannon Brown
  3. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 11:51 AM) Meanwhile, Quinarvy's approval rating remains high. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 12:07 PM) New polls suggest he's also sexy.
  4. Weren't we rebooting TalkBulls for this sole reason?
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 11:39 AM) Please. You and everybody here owes me for bringing some variety and a different perspective to this abomination of a thread. You and the rest of the crybabies in here chased off one of the best posters (felix) this board has ever seen. Why? Because he chose not to suck Rose's cock and recognize this is the NBA thread and not the Bulls thread aka Rose is so amazing because he's humble aka the refs are the reason the bulls ever lose aka LeBron should never see the ft line and if he does its a conspiracy garbage. I miss Felix.
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 01:28 AM) Name one manager who could have orchestrated the type of run we had in the 2005 postseason? Those who fail to credit Ozzie for having the right clubhouse attitude as we mauled everybody are ingrates IMO. The use of his starting pitching and refusal to over-manage, every move of his worked. He was important to our '05 run and yet many people seem to actually hate him. THIS AMAZES ME. Truly insane IMO. So it ended poorly. It's not like he was the only reason for our demise. Dunn, Rios, KW's idiotic moves like Manny and some ridiculous trades ... need I go on?? George Bush Approval Ratings George W. Bush's High Point: 90%, 2001 George W. Bush's Low Point: 25%, 2008 THINGS CHANGE IN A SPAN OF SEVEN YEARS GREG.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 11:32 AM) I am going a different route this time. Gotta change it up a little bit. I will, however, say "f*** WEST COAST LATE GAMES" Like.
  8. Ahem, you forgot "f*** the Dodgers"
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 12:46 AM) What a bulletproof argument. How can you anyone deny the awesomeness of Ozzie? THE OZZIE-NESS OF OZZIE! To be fair, the Tigers signed Prince Fielder and some other free agents, so Jim Leyland has to be up there. And the Angels signed Albert Pujols and some other free agents, so Mike Scoscia is up there too. And the Yankees signed Dewayne Wise and some other free agents, so Joe Girardi is up there too. Because the fundamental reason behind a manager being both a respected and a good manager is when free agents sign with the team he manages. I mean, why else would Alex Rodriguez have signed multiple 10-year, $250+ million contracts if it weren't for Johnny Oates and Joe Girardi? I mean, I don't know about you guys, but if I'm Joey Votto, the only way I sign that 10 year, $225 million extension with the Reds is if I know that Dusty Baker is going to be my manager for all 10 of those years. I mean, for real guys, Todd Helton signed his 9 year, $141.5 million extension with the Rockies because he knew that Clint Hurdle was a very well respected manager in the major leagues and wanted him to be the manager forever and ever, but when he went off and got fired (because management in Colorado obviously has nothing to do with it), the Pittsburgh Pirates brought him in so that they knew for certain they'd be able to resign Andrew McCutcheon to a contact extension. All of this is soundproof logic, which thus, makes Ozzie Guillen pretty easily the best manager of all time. It's simply bad luck that his team is in 4th place. So did he just get respected? Because before Dunn we couldn't sign big name free agents. So he clearly isn't respected in Chicago. Got it greg! Thanks!

  11. Remember how good Mitchell was looking before his injury? If he's close to looking like that again, that'll be great.
  12. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 07:32 PM) Naaah. I was rooting for offensive domination, and expecting Gavin to s*** the bed. Now, I am rooting for a healthy amount of Ks, and hoping Gavin doesn't s*** the bed. This is your fault.
  13. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 05:59 PM) jesus man. Don't curse the jesusman. "Now this motha is nicknaming Jesus. Damn."
  14. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 02:44 PM) This always cracks me up. What the hell is an "intensive purpose?" Haha. Reminds me of "I could care less"... o rly? Intensive when discussing Peavy/Hulk, intents and purposes otherwise. QUOTE (Cali @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) I think Jake Peavy looks A LOT like Jeremy Renner.... Peavy shall be all the heroes!
  15. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 01:34 PM) At any point he can turn it around and be lights out for a month....have some faith...I have a feeling he'll get a quality start today
  16. QUOTE (sunofgold @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 10:48 AM) GF is from Iowa? I did not know that. Then "if you build it, he will come." C'mon Gavin Droid. You have to fill that void. The void is the area between our outstanding starters and our sucky starters. Just get a quality start in there. We should be able to 'put it on the board' against the anti-Jake. Just.win.it! GO.WHITE.SOX! That was an Avengers reference.
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 08:33 AM) You can't see a neurologist until September? F*ck this country. No, I saw one two weeks ago and will see one at Northwestern on July 26 (earliest opening). They just can't run tests until Sept. 16. Because they only do the 24-hour EEG on Tuesdays and Thursdays. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 10:09 AM) Banging your chin to the ground is the worst. f***ing painful. All I know is I woke up in the ER with my face/hands/arms/shirt covered in blood, in a neck brace, with my contacts out. I hit the ground real hard. My friend that found me said it looked like I was shot, since I was in a pool of my own blood.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 09:38 AM) motion denied, relevance My thoughts on this thread:
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 08:14 AM) For all intensive purposes, lol Was hoping that'd make someone laugh. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 08:48 AM) I do like that I'm in there defending De Aza, but I'm curious as to how that wound up happening. Congrats! QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 08:54 AM) Come on now, it was VictoryMC. Everything he said was argued Because this.
  20. Speaking of the seizures, has anyone ever used mederma to remove a scar? One of the seizures happened when I was in a parking lot and my face decided to fight the ground (hint: I lost), so I have a nasty scar on my chin and would like it gone.
