  1. Paulie's at the plate. Let's talk about Mike Trout.
  2. These Angels, Rangers, and Tigers are great.
  3. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 09:11 PM) They were captivated by Harpers shoes in the on deck circle. The only thing he is missing is the lights on impact like the toddlers have. Better name for Harper: Twinkletoes or Tinkerbell?
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 08:43 PM) Don't get your post. You obviously know they aren't playing anymore. Their Quidditch team. When said "we play next year" I mean me and my team actually playing them. I know, a sport based off Harry Potter, but with tackling and everything it still takes some athleticism.
  5. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) That was pretty cool how they barely even acknowledged that Sale was on the mound. Talked about Chipper and RA Dickey the whole half inning. Production crew even gave close-ups of Sale to spark conversation, and nothing. Solid work, FOX, promote the players we all already know, and keep quiet about the budding superstars that are unknown to most of the fans. Also, you can tell by McCutcheon's swing that he hit a foul ball. Fascinating analysis.
  6. At least Sale struck out one of the most overrated players in the MLB.
  7. Trout and Harper are awesome fielders. Still, Chipper should be out. f*** you Kinsler.
  8. Kinsler could have gotten that if he didn't suck at fielding.
  9. Paul KonERko in at 1B.
  10. The Rangers will lead the AL to victory.
  11. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 08:51 PM) Buck saying how hard it is too see flyballs out here......... And....who else had a problem so far? His gold shoes blinded him. Time for Sale to come in and show Verlander and Harrison how to do work.
  12. He lucked out because Tinkerbell couldn't see the ball.
  13. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 08:40 PM) I thought that too, but then I realized they were showing the 5 rookies who made the All-Star team. Sale is not a rookie. Yeah, still...Sale > any of those players this year that aren't Trout.
  14. Why is Sale not on the "next generation of stars" thing?
  15. Rangers and Tigers doin' work. For the NL.
  16. Bring in Sale for chrissake. Also, good thing we can pinch hit AJ for Napoli...wait...s***.
  17. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 08:13 PM) Very true. It just doesn't seem like the same team, but I saw that stat today which made me a tad bit worried. Also, the Sox rolled into the '06 break looking like they'd be a dynasty. Past years mean nothing ultimately. They aren't making a mega-run.
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 07:42 PM) That is true. I went to the KU-MU hoops game at Mizzou two seasons ago when KU happened to win. Some grandfather and his grandkid were standing up taunting MU fans, acting like complete f***brains. The MU fans didn't do anything when I wouldn't have been surprised or pissed if somebody knocked grandpa's block off. At least we agree on this. I told my KU friends when they play at Mizzou next year, I'm throwing out any spectators that say any unreasonable things.
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 08:08 PM) Ozzie going with the dreaded closer-by-committie. Maybe the closer formerly known as Leo Nunez can save the day. Look at Ozzie, always doing something by committee. So innovative!
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) They are 44-42. Last year at this point they were 45-41. Last year that a semblance of defense and pitching though, right?
  21. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 02:06 PM) Ill take the opinions of people on Soxtalk, who could actually name the reporters, instead of a guy who came to Soxtalk to presumably troll hits.
  22. Justice done been served.
  23. So, the Tigers gonna make that great run, right?
  24. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 01:58 PM) Self is not a dick. I've never heard one person say that. I've met the guy and have lived here a while and he's not close to being a dick. As far as ending the Border Showdown, why in the hell would Kansas keep playing Missouri in sports when Missouri left the league and for a brief period put the future of KU football and basketball in the Mountain West Conference. It would have sorted itself out and KU would have landed in one of the new 16-league megaconferences that are coming. The Missouri fans who want to keep playing Kansas are delusional. You can't have it both ways. If you want a new conference, the SEC (MU actually wanted to go to the Big Ten and the Big Ten laughed at them), then you get the SEC. You don't get the remnants of your former league. I wanted Big 10 with KU coming with. And KU wouls be left out of any megaconference. Football is too atrocious. And Self comes off as a dick to me. You knowing him changes nothin about my opinion of him based off his public actions. And don't talk about delusion when you're the most delusional poster on this board. KU didn't want to continue the rivalry becase when considering all sports, it's been hilariously one sided recently. And KU fans are just as classesless as Mizzou ones (and all fanbases). When we played in Lawrence a spectator called three of my players whores. For Quidditch. Do you understand how stupid that is?
