Our lineup will definitely be a good mix of power, speed and obp guys if we do sign Iguchi. I am not giving up on Crede yet. He still has a chance to become a great source of power for our lineup. Beltre had the same problems, cant live up to the hype but last year he finally had a break out year.

We have a very good bullpen as it stands. I dont want to see Marte traded. I know he did not pitch well last year but I know he'll bounce back. Castillo would look awesome in our sox uni and definitely fits perfectly on our batting order.

Per rotoworld Maggs news. Walker didnt want to sign with us bcoz of his fear of what cubs fans will say. Maggs should have the same philosophy if he respect us sox fans. Valdez was very good defensively last year. I saw him as another gutsy player that can battle pitchers and eventually get a pesky hit off them. If we dont get a 2nd baseman then harris and valdez should be ok for now. If we sign cora then cora and valdez is a much better option.

Ray Ray is going to be a good addition but 13 mil for 2 years is way too much. We should not destroy our pen bcoz what we have now can potentially be as good as anybody else's bullpen. If we want a contract like that then why not give it to Iguchi and make it a 3 year contract instead.

Today is the deadline for both parties to agree on a deal right? I dont mind a 1 year contract for now but off course a multi year deal is welcome.
