Pls no Grilli or Schoenweiss. I like the two moves KW just made but if he is not able to get us a pretty good starter for our 5th spot then I'd say this off season is not a successful one. But I still trust KW, look somewhere else....

Good thing coz RJ would cause too much (konerko, garland and anderson). If we do sign Jaret Wright, what kind of pitches does he have on his arsenal? Does he throw his fastball above 90's bcoz I heard thats what we are looking for a flame thrower on our rotation.

Also the cubs will offer arbitration to Clement. This sucks because I want us to get Clement but I dont want to give them a draft pick for him.

After reading the trade and FA signings I said to myself wow we are gonna be kicking some ass next year.... But then again, the only good thing about the sox during hot stove time are RUMORS

How can we make room on our 40 man roster just in case we sign a couple of FA's? Do we send the players down but do they have to clear the waivers?

So as usual we pick in the middle because we dont sign any FA that helps us to be on top .

I dont mind Womack or Counsell. It seems Willie will be the 2nd base starter for next year after losing out on a couple of free agents. If he cant cut it, Womack/Counsell will be a good backup plan.

Maybe KW is just saying we are not dealing with BORAS so we wont miss out on any FA again especially the impact players Boras has.

All I can say is we will forever be on the middle and not on top because whenever we just needed a good starter, a good bat etc. the money aspect of our team always holds us back. There is nothing wrong with spending a little bit more so finally we can finish 1st and not in the middle of the pack each and every year.

If we end up trading Konerko hopefully for a good starter, Id say trade for Nick Johnson from the Expos. We still need a left hand bat in the middle of the order. If we dont get a LH bat we still have the same RH dominant offense. Expos might be looking to trade after a couple of this FA signings.

I dont mind Polanco, hope we dont overpay for him though. Polanco seems to be the best option for us to do. But if we lose out on him Id say get Walker or Womack.

If we are going to trade anybody, Konerko should be the one. I agree we need to build around with Lee. We dont want to lose all our offense, we should remember we have a couple of aging players.

JD Drew will be nice to see in a sox uni. We need a left hand bat and most def he can provide that. He had good numbers last season but of course he is a BORAS client so we will not even talk to them to get him here.

Hudson would be ok but Im scared who will we give up in our minors the way Beane has ripped us on the past.
