I heard from Bruce Levine on ESPN 1000 that Magglio had another surgery on his knee but this one was done at Vienna. Hope Maggs bounce back from this injury no matter where he plays.

We have 2 players that can get us 20 HRs or more but with low avg. in Valentin and Crede. I would rather see Crede stay.

Maybe next year we'll get to 2 milllion, so they better fix this team up next year with much better pitching both starters and relievers.

I do not agree with the lineups also. We need to play the young guys. Dont know why Valentin is still playing we need to see Valdez playing either at short or second base. Even if Borchard cant hit, play him maybe he gets all the struggling this year and play better next year. The season is all over. We suck!!!!!!!!! Give the young players a chance to play and maybe they play a more inspiring game than the veterans. We need to change the players we have. Its been 3 years that these Twins have played us like a fool. We need a mix of OBP guys and some power. Marlins and Braves have the speed, pesky hitting and power all in 1 team. We cant have this all or nothing power every year. I do not want Valentin back. Maybe its not the manager's fault, its the players that we have who falls on their assess each year.

We need more players like Rowand who gives it all out on every play on both defense and offense. Just like the banner says, Rowand is a grinder. If he becomes the captain then good for him. We need hitters like him that make each at bat the best at bat the player can get. Rowand does a great job of adjusting on pitchers.

Yeah he seems to pop out everytime he bats but I still think he can turn it around. Konerko was awful last year so maybe Crede is having the same funk but for the whole year. He plays good defense on the hot corner and all he needs is to improve on his hitting. I hope we keep him next year and hopefully he improves his batting average and OBP. By comparing Beltre's stat to Crede's, it looks the same to me. I remember Beltre was a big under achiever until this year. TBeltre has shown a little bit more HR's but OBP, SLG and AVG seems to be the same. Maybe Crede has a break out season like Beltre is having this year.

Damn nobody on our Minor league can step up and pitch good enough for us to win. What is being taught in the minors, walk batters and dont attack hitters? I think we lost more than 15 games bcoz of our 5th starters. We definitely need more pitching next year.

Borchard, I hope will be fine. Rowand has had the same struggles when he came up. Besides he has hit the ball well and he is getting walks. He is improving just having some bad luck whenever he hit the ball. and he is hitting the ball hard.

I would love to have those 2 guys in the sox uniform. We need players that gets on base most of the time so we wont lead the MLB in solo HR's. When Uribe and Harris was always on base, we were winning games. Dont know if these two can turn it up and hit like they did most of the first half.

It worked pretty well when Rowand bats 1st or 2nd why change it if it works.

I agree give a position as a coach instead of sucking every time he is out there. We need 2 more bullpen guys either 1 from the minors and 1 from a trade. It is still a long season and we need additional pitchers so everyone does not get too tired.

Id say pitching if it's Mark Mulder. A bullpen guy will be a good addition.

Gotta to give it to Rowand, he has given us a big lift and seems to solve our problems in CF.

willie was great last night taking walks and working the pitcher. uribe is struggling right now, i dont mind seeing willie out there. he was doing great before valentin came back. i agree he needs to steal some more bases, if he does that the pitchers will focus more on him stealing bases instead of the batters.

Damn if we get him we have Marte, Mota and Shingo and teams wont be able to come back with that bullpen.

I was at the game today. Great crowd about 37000+ today. It was the first time we saw the Shingo introduction and all I can say is that is a great job by the sox. That "gong" sound was great, everybody loves it when Shingo was ptiching. Go SOX!!!!!!!
