Good thing Freddy has signed with us already. We do not need to speculate whether he is gonna be with us next year or not. We'll have a pitching staff that can compete now and for a couple of more years to come.

Shingo will not be perfect all the time. Im just glad we dont have Koch anymore because we would have seen 10 more games like this with him compared to 1 by shingo! He just needs to adjust to the hitters and improve more.

Great job by Garland. he needs to be more consistent though. But great job by Garland shutting down those twinkies after they scored a run in the first. The defense helped him today not like the game against the Cubs.

It's just good to finally have good 3 starting pitchers that you can compare to the best rotation in the league.

I heard an interview of someone from Seattle (newspaper), that last couple of years Garcia has lost focus when a play is not made behind him. The guy did say that Garcia improved on that issue this year. Garcia probably is just pressing to impress his teammates. Bet he was surprised to get a lot of run support.

Its good to have Freddy pitch for us early in July instead of getting him during the trade deadline. I know we gave up too much but Im hoping Freddy does stay with us.

I was at the Taste last Saturday when my wife and I passed by the budweiser booth (I think) when we saw the game. I saw the score and it was 6-3 on the 8th inning and celebrate over the cubs fans watching the game.

My wife and I were there yesterday, it was great to see 3 hitters on the ninth getting fooled big time with Shingo's pitches. Everybody was standing up and supporting Takatsu at the game. Shingo is definitely our closer.

Saw Frank hit 2 dingers yesterday and that was great to see. Frank is really hitting well since last year.

Im going with Shingo. Marte can be the set up man and Koch can only pitch if we are blowing out the other team with 10 or more runs.

I dont want Koch to enter on a save situation again. This has been going on since last year. He is getting a lot of money to give wins to the other team. We cant waste all the effort of the other players while Koch blows the game again. I am all for going on another direction. Takatsu or Marte, I dont care.
