maybe a better question would be... if any of the networks call an early win for either Bush or Kerry in Florida or Ohio... do you believe them?

don't forget Guam and the Virgin Islands.

With 1 day left, lets do an electoral vote prediction contest. You can use this website to help your numbers. http://www.mockelection.org/electionmap/ I'm saying Kerry 299- Bush 239.

that's hilarious. i love the section on Jack and Emma Claire

at the same point, dont you think the citizens of Iowa, Wisconsin, New Mexico, etc are tired of seeing these guys every damn week? At the same point, many small states are being ignored too. Like Nebraska or Wyoming or Connecticut or Delaware.

does your bank offer on-line bill pay? Even if a company doesn't accept it, the bank then cuts a check for you and sends it. I've paid my friends thru on-line bill pay.

on-line bill pay. It's the best. No more stamps for me.

so I guess this means that American Citizens living in foreign countries or the US Military can't view his website and get more info from him. Good news for Kerry.

in my opinion... this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to get involved in the process. My guess is that these kids from Milwaukee are going door to door in Milwaukee. Where do you want them to go? Green Bay? It's very similar to the "Mandatory Volunteering" (how's that for irony) that my High School made us do in order to graduate.

GOP Criticizes Student Vote Campaign MILWAUKEE - Republicans are criticizing a Wisconsin get-out-the-vote campaign involving public school students, saying Democrats are exploiting the students for political gain. Young people in the program organized by the Wisconsin Citizen Action Fund take time from regular classes to go door to door in minority neighborhoods and areas with historically low voter turnout, urging people to cast ballots. The students, ranging in age from 11 to 18, also use phone banks to call homes and urge people to vote. Chris Lato, spokesman for the state Republican Party, called the program "a disgraceful use of taxpayer money." "To spend this time on a clearly partisan effort when these kids should be in school learning is shocking," Lato said. Larry Marx, co-executive director of Wisconsin Citizen Action, denied there is any partisanship to the effort, despite the fact the advocacy group supports Democratic Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites). The children do not wear any partisan buttons or clothing, and they do not encourage people to vote one way or another. Participation is voluntary, and parents are required to give their approval, he said. Roseann St. Aubin, spokeswoman for Milwaukee Public Schools, said the administration approved of the program as long as it was not partisan and the curriculum met state standards for teaching.

I really think Powell is a stand-up guy. I would like to see Kerry extend an offer to him for his administration and see how the Powell Doctrine would work under a Democratic Administration. He's doctrine seems to be similar to that of Kerry's.

when all is said and done... Germany, France, Russia and China were all right! We were wrong. They all said that we wouldn't find any WMD's. They were right.. we were wrong... They all said that Sadaam was not a threat to them or the US. They were right, we were wrong. But then again, they only opposed the most powerful country in the World because of an oil-for-food program right? Come on folks.. you're smarter than that.

there was an interesting program on WTTW Nightline last nite about Donald Rumsfeld which was somewhat interesting. Did anyone catch it? It pointed out how so many military people that were put into power under Reagan and Bush 41 tried to work with Colin Powell and serve as the voice of reason before the war began but it was Cheney, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld that stopped them. Apparently Bush 43 listened to them but in the end was pursuaded by Cheney. Maybe more of the blame on the constant failures in Iraq should be placed on the shoulders of Cheney, Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld rather than all on Bush?

yeah when these channels have guys like Tucker Carlson, Bob Novak, Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchannan... they are definitely leaning to the left.
-
in all honesty... everyone b****es that their side isn't getting a fair shake... that the other side is against them. It all balances out.. for every Fox News there's a CBS news... for every Ann Coutler there's a Michael Moore... For every Howard Stern there's a Sinclair Broadcasting. Everything loves to play the role of a victim.
-
yeah call your county clerks office. If you are in Cook County, call David Orr's office downtown. Congrats on registering.

you learn something new everyday.

no doubt about it. Kerry would need to pick up Ohio, New Hampshire and protect either Iowa or Wisconsin in order to win. Personally I don't think Arkansas is even up in the air. I think that's a 5 pt Bush win.
