seeing that I live and work in the burbs, I haven't had a chance to see the DNC people everyone's been discussing on the board until this morning. earlier today I had a meeting at the Hancock building and on my way back I was approached by a DNC girl. She couldn't have been any older than 21. In any case, in her shy voice, she was asking people on the street if they would like to support the DNC's causes. As I walk by this girl get's cursed out by a older woman. This woman must have been in her 60's and was dressed like she probably lives in the Gold Coast. (Since I lived there for 2 years, I can pick out these type of eliteists like a sore thumb) I started thinking about it.. what's so hard about saying thanks but no thanks. Sure this woman is entitled to her free speech, just like those fans cursing at the Sox game, but this poor girl was obviosuly shaken and is just trying to reach people to discuss what she believes strongly in. Am I missing anything Sox fans?

Do you write a letter to the mayor? I agree with the inquiry into autographs, that's a fair question.. but complaining about people swearing... TFB.

I understand he may be in a slump.. Why not drop him in the order. He's hitting .225 for the entire Month of June!!!

Anyone else think it's time for Uribe to go back to the bench? His average has dropped from .341 to .290-something here over the past 1 1/2 mos. Of course there is no way he could have kept that .341 average in place.. but he must be hitting .250 to make a .51 drop.

Cotts isnt getting it done anymore. I think his ERA is 5.96 now. Maybe it's due to him having to start that one game... who knows. He's just been horrible over the past 2 months. Anyone else think it's time to send him back to AAA to get his head on straight?
