absolutely true.. the biggest misconception in the automobile market is that of "Us automakers" After a long, somewhat calm arguement with a girl who bought her Saturn because it was made in the US and had to support those US automarkers, I calmly took her out to her car, opened up the drivers side door and pointed to the white sticker on the inside which clearly stated that 85% of the car was produced and assembled in Mexico. I think the other 15% was Canada too. I laughed, and laughed, and laughed. You want to support a US worker with your tax refund, go buy a Mitsubishi (Normal, IL), Toyota (I think KY) or a Honda (Ohio)

it sounds like the bigger issue here is transporting over state lines. Shoot after Clinton, Craig, Vitner keeping their position after similar issues.. will Spitzer be the same or will he fall down the McGreevy route.

my wifes school district typically goes to a Cubs game every year with the discounted group ticket package that is offered. $5 per ticket. this year the Cubs oversold and thus there is no game for the teachers. Does anyone know of a good contact within the Sox organization to talk to about going to a Sox game instead? If so, PM me or respond in this thread. Thanks.

as a sales manager, I have the ability to read my coworkers emails. I've noticed that one of my employees has been talking to a recruiter about another job, under her company-issued email address. (yes not very smart) do I... a) confront the employee knowing that this may create a "big brother" workplace. B) ignore the situation knowing that I may be losing an employee soon (small co, would make a huge difference) c) make the hard sell to the employee about why they need to be working here in the first place. d) dont call them out on the carpet about the emails, but ask straight out if they are interviewing elsewhere. thoughts???
