This is from a friend who is a HS ref: If the ball is in the air when the count hits ten, and an offensive player is the first one to touch it in the front court, it's not a violation, but if a defensive player touches it first, then it is.

It did cross, but it never touched an offensive player, and I think that's required to stop the count.

You mean where the ball stayed in the backcourt for 10 seconds? I don't have the rule in front of me, but I don't think a defensive player touching the ball in the frontcourt stops the count.

So the ACC gets to replay their semifinal round Sunday.

If Carolina plays like this Sunday it will be over early.

They need to go to Culver's, order some cheese curds and get over it.

Like I said, if you want to give ND 20 free throws for all the other times that stuff wasn't called, then you can have that one.

They let both teams get away with too much contact the whole game. If they called the entire game like you wanted them to call the last minute, Happ would have fouled out with 10 minutes left and ND would have shot 20 FT in the 2nd half. I counted at least four +1 on ND layups that weren't called. But they were consistently not calling it the entire game for either team.

After all the bizarre upsets and finishes in this tournament, we could still have an all #1 Final Four.

From a policy standpoint, not a whole lot, but there is a lot of Hillary hate among Sanders voters and while not really all that moderate, he looks like one compared to Cruz and that is probably enough to get some of those voters.

If Kasich gets the nomination, it's because at least one of Trump/Cruz has asked their delegates to support Kasich. No, there won't be a lot of Republicans staying home because Republicans really, really, really, really hate Hillary Clinton. The difference is that Kasich can get the independent voters and even some of the Sanders supporters that Trump and Cruz have no chance at getting.

I know 156 is a big number, but I like the over on Oregon/Duke as well. Duke creates lots of points at both ends of the floor.

New FOX News poll out today. In hypothetical November matchups, Kasich beats Clinton 51-40, Cruz beats Clinton 47-44, Clinton beats Trump 49-38. All the Trump voters just handing the election right over to Hillary.

131.5 seems like an awfully low number for any ND game, even when the opponent has a good defense. ND even put up 66 on Virginia so I'd definitely go with the over on that one.

But there's no value at all in publishing a non-weighted average of those two polls. It's just printing meaningless numbers for the sake of printing them.
