All New Soccer Thread ~ All Levels ~ All Leagues

It's not like you didn't already know the final score was going to be 2-0. -
For the most part you're getting the opinion of a reporter, who was hired because their opinion aligns closely with the higher ups at those companies.
-
That's the dumbest f***ing thing I've ever seen.
-
Now you see why the bullpen just strikes everybody out.
-
You just had to say no hitter didn't you?
-
Both of Cleveland's were hit hard but right at guys.
-
I like those 10 minute innings.

Also a nice backup plan in case he wins his appeal on this conviction.
-
Made me laugh with that one.

No you don't really need to find the equivalent of a benchmark plan in 2013, because that's exactly my point. I'm talking about all the people who were forced out of their existing plans after 2013 because they didn't meet the requirements imposed in 2014. That group saw huge premium increases, and those are the people who bore the brunt of the impact of Obamacare. Those are the people who are paying the bill for all the people getting free or reduced cost insurance. Again, not saying that people don't deserve to have that insurance, but this bill was crafted in a way that completely screwed over a handful of people rather than spreading out the cost in a more equitable way. This is what needs to be fixed.

Amazingly, Carrasco has no fractures nor a concussion. Only a contusion. -
1) If you have the 7th pick, you really should be meeting with every guy on the top 10-14 on your draft board, so you can put a precise value on what you would give up to trade up for a guy, or what you would require to trade down for a guy. 2) You should be meeting with every guy on the top 10-14 of your board so that you aren't tipping your hands to other teams who are considering trading up for the same players.

Albert and Bernard have both just met Cheryl. Cheryl tells them both that her birthday is one of ten possible dates: May 15 May 16 May 19 June 17 June 18 July 14 July 16 August 14 August 15 August 17 Cheryl then tells only Albert the month and only Bernard the day. Albert states that he knows that Bernard does not know the month. Bernard states that based on Albert's statement, he does now know the month. Albert states that based on Bernard's statement, he now knows the day. What is Cheryl's birthday?

OK, but what about the increase in premiums from 2013 to 2014, when many people were forced to change plans because they couldn't "keep their insurance" (despite what they were promised)? If the increase due to the forced change in plans was astronomical for an individual or family, then the fact that the increase from 2014 to 2015 was low really doesn't matter.
-
What you've basically described is a tax increase that has disproportionately impacted the lower-middle and middle classes, who now have to devote a significantly larger portion of their income to health insurance. Self-employed people and others who were getting their insurance other than through employer group plans have taken especially hard hits. Somehow, the upper class ends up not bearing any of the burden of getting more people on health insurance.
-
Obamacare is working in part because it forced huge premium increases on the middle class. That part needs to be fixed. I don't agree with the Republican tactic of just eliminating Obamacare without finding another way to continue providing insurance to the previously uninsured, but at the same time you have to find a better way to do this.

Unless there is some ultra-super-mega damaging information that the Republicans are just sitting on and waiting until next September to let out, there's no chance Hillary loses.

It's amazing how much discussion a single sarcastic post can generate.

Looks like it took the team 37½ innings to figure out that the season started. Since then it's been pretty good.

Well, there's that other level . . .

I don't have the statistics handy, but I've seen several studies on the issue. If you really want to see the numbers, a quick google search should find it for you.

Yeah, there are at least 3-4 guys who were waiting to see which current players went pro before declaring. I expect a few commit announcements coming up soon.
