  3. No, just like the Michigan map will never change no matter how many years MSU is better than UM

  5. Jose Quintana (LHS) 1-3, 5.03 vs Jimmy Nelson (RHP) 1-3, 4.00
  6. And make sure you aren't standing sideways so we can see you.
  7. I think the main purpose of adding a third person (aside from the two obvious reasons on display above) is that since they are moving from Bristol to Manhattan, they need to have another person based there to co-host the show on days one of the Mikes is off. Right now, they just grab whoever is hanging around the main Bristol campus that's available, but they won't be able to do that in Manhattan. The reason they are moving to Manhattan is to have more crossover with ABC's Good Morning America when there are big stories where sports and news merge (Aaron Hernandez, Baltimore riots, etc.) and they can have segments that are simulcast on both shows.
  8. Very nice. The show is also moving from Bristol to Times Square.
  9. Chris Sale, LHP, 2-1, 5.93 vs Mike Fiers, RHP, 1-4, 5.46
  10. Jeff better do some hitting if he expects to have any run support.
  11. The pitchers should work on getting the ball to go more than 58 feet in the air before hitting the ground.
  12. If the Sox switch over to WLS next year, I'll never catch the end of a game.
  13. Louisville had a case a few years back where they were over their limit by one. One of the player's father was a surgeon and told the school to pull his kid's scholarship and just paid his tuition.
  14. Not really interested in the cruise so much as pointing out that somebody at work is ripping people off.
  15. Got a flyer at work advertising a "great deal" on a group rate for a cruise next October. Flyer listed the interior cabin rate at $569/person. Went on the cruise line's website and they have an interior cabin for that cruise listed at $329/person.
  16. Lived in DC for a year and really regret never going up to Gettysburg.
  17. Yeah, if you use the 2014 vote totals and implement this system, the Republicans lose a handful of seats. Of course, the point of the system is to encourage more voters in highly partisan districts to vote, so we don't know if that would be the true effect of the system.
  18. In 2014, the popular vote in Illinois was 51.4% for D and 48.6% for R. The seat distribution was 10 for D and 8 for R, which lines up with the popular vote so I don't think things would change a lot.
  19. My idea isn't really designed to benefit either party. The purpose is to make everybody's vote count for something. If you are a Republican in a 75% Democratic district, you might stay home on Election Day because the result is inevitable, but if you can contribute to a statewide vote where it's really close as to whether your party gets 4 or 5 of the seats from your state, then your vote is worth something.
  20. I lived in East Lansing for two years and Battle Creek for one and spent a lot of time in GR while living both places.
  21. Most rural areas get gerrymandered in with cities as it is anyway.
  22. This is what I have thought should happen with Congress. Instead of breaking each state up by districts, each party has a slate of candidates for the state. Voters vote for one party's slate of candidates. Taking Indiana for example, if 56% voted Republican, 36% voted Democrat, and 8% voted Libertarian, then the Republicans would get 5 seats, the Democrats 3 and the Libertarians 1. Then we don't get gerrymandered districts that result in a party getting less than 60% of the vote but almost 80% of the seats in the state.
  23. I would be nice if he would contain all his BS in one location so I only have one place to ignore.
  24. As much as I like Izzo and MSU, I also like seeing Indiana talent stay in state. Would like to see more of that.
