QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2015 -> 11:08 AM) Saw a vine of Aldos corner coach reacting to the KO, lol. He was pretty upset, it is safe to say You have a link? QUOTE (raBBit @ Dec 13, 2015 -> 10:26 PM) I was shocked but I'll still take Frankie over McGregor in the summer. Aldo deserves a rematch, there's precedent for a matchup but there won't be a rematch. Didn't Frankie lose to Aldo?

2015-2016 NBA Thread
The Bulls just lack a killer instinct. I don't know what happens but they'll have good leads and they'll let a team go a run to make the game closer. It's ridiculous how many games they win on the last possession. They do not blow teams out!

Relationship Advice Thread
QUOTE (greg775 @ Dec 12, 2015 -> 01:46 AM) True, but isn't it rotten that the psychiatrist was that inept? Looking at his watch ... not remembering one session from the next. Inexcusable. I don't know what that means. It's a rotten situation but it's not my place to tell the wife anything. All I can do is encourage the guy to end his cheating ways and be a good hubby/dad. You've got to remember, a lot of people do cheat. It's not a pretty trait, but a lot of people cheat on their spouses. What do you do if you are not attracted to your wife physically anymore but don't want to break up the family? He gets his sex from the hot chicks he meets at bars and cheats with. I mean what good would it do for me to a.) tell his wife he's still cheating; she knows he cheated the first time or b.) scream at him. It's his life. He makes his own decisions. I'm just a friend. Imagine you are married greg, and your wife does the exact same thing this husband is doing to his wife. I think you would want to know. He's treating his wife like an asshole. He probably doesn't want to end it because he's going to get fleeced in the divorce. It may not be your place to tell but you absolutely should stop being friends with him. Birds of a feather greg, birds of a feather.

I online sports bet so my winnings are sent directly back on my credit card, which I then cash advance and put the money in my bank account. Rinse and repeat. There is a giant electronic trail, I'll get caught if I continuously do it and don't pay up.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 10, 2015 -> 12:06 PM) Sounds like you have an issue with capital gains taxes. I do to! Yeah and lot of them probably have a loophole to not pay on that. The point is there is not a level playing field. If I don't pay taxes and I get caught, I'm going away because I'm a "nobody".

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 10, 2015 -> 11:36 AM) This is nonsense too. What goods do we as Americans buy at "astronomical prices?" Goods in our country are INSANELY cheap given what goes into making them. I mean I have no problem closing any tax loopholes for multi national corps, and i'm totally on board with penalizing companies that use non-American labor/manufacturing (or conversely, heavily benefiting those that do), but that's a different argument. I believe those arguments are one in the same, Jenks! The only reason they do this is because it's allowed by the politicians. As I said before, I'm not advocating taking money from people I'm advocating leveling the playing field. Corporations and billionaires should not be able to hide money overseas. That money should be taxed appropriately. Here's a perfect example. I am a sports bettor and I have to pay bloody taxes on my winnings, mind you they have already been taxed because of my income. How on earth is that fair? Rich people get to dictate when they will or will not pay taxes in subtle sense.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 10, 2015 -> 09:49 AM) Astronomical prices? Have you ever been to another country? Try buying electronics in south america and come talk to me. I don't think this is relevant to this aspect of the discussion. I was referring to Apple which produces good in China for cheap and then turn around and sell them to Americans for $600. Astronomical was a hyperbole but the point remains they are definitely taking advantage of the situation as business people should do. The American government allows this because they are of course, bought.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 10, 2015 -> 09:14 AM) How are these rich people cheating more than the 19th century rich people? Was that when the american people had the american dream? When did the american dream happen? Hiding money overseas and using cheap labor to make goods to sell to Americans at astronomical prices. If the 19 century rich had the international world we did today, they would do the exact same thing.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 10, 2015 -> 09:32 AM) They're not, but we created and enforced anti-trust laws and busted up monopolies in response to the Gilded Age. We're sliding back towards more and more industry consolidation these days, though. Monopolies these days are more subtle, for example the pharma industry. A little pharma company pops and is successful, big pharma will swoop in and buy them up. Granted it's not illegal but it's a way to keep new blood off the market. Or big pharma will break up into different entities and claim they are not the same. It's a big giant scam.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 04:55 PM) Wrong. http://www.chicagobooth.edu/capideas/magaz...aires-self-made I should have clarified and said some, not all, as generalizations like that are easy to debunk. Oh, the Walton family says hello! I mean taxpayers are practically paying for their gross negligence to their employees and yes they have multiple family members that are multi billionaires! Let that sink in for a minute. If you hide your money in offshore accounts and send jobs overseas, you should not be allowed to sell your products in the USA. Better yet, tax the hell out of the goods coming in to compensate for their cheating. Yeah yeah, they'll just pass the buck to the consumers. Must be nice to be a rich and to rig the game. The little guy can never win.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Dec 9, 2015 -> 12:48 PM) General ideological opposition to welfare state policies like universal health care and higher taxes especially on the wealthy. I'm sorry but the American dream got flushed down the toilet when those rich cocksuckers started cheating. They got rich off the hard working people of America, they most certainly did not earn all of their billions of dollars.
