  1. Truth Hickory. These guys have to work counts. Zach made a good pitch on Kepp after feeding him fastball after fastball and then oops... change up. You can't expect to make quality contact after seeing two pitches! Make him throw you something you want to hit!
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 01:51 PM) More than anyone on the team, he'd benefit from being more aggressive. Tyler seriously just looks at meatball pitches sometimes.
  3. Tekotte owes us a hitting performance for that s*** he pulled on Monday.
  4. LMAO sometimes I wonder if English is my first language. I was trying to say Flowers should be before Dunn not he should bat before Flowers. Not I see why everyone is picking fun.
  5. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 09:11 AM) This lineup is bad enough with 9 people in it. No need to add a 10th. I do not follow.
  6. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 23, 2013 -> 09:27 PM) It's concerning that Ventura won't tinker with the lineup . Right now the hot hitters need to be bunched together .My crazy lineup below at least against righties DeAza Alexei Rios Konerko Gillaspie DanksWise Keppinger Dunn Yes Dunn is last. At this point switch hitting Carlos Zambrano is a better option than Dunn. Maybe Kepp and Dunn can get hot together. Submit your own if you want. You don't need Kepp at 7th. Kepp still makes contact so 2nd is best for him. Where is Flowers/Gimenez... 9th? I think Dunn should be 9th and bat before Flowers since both will most likely strike out or may hit a home run. You gotta have all the non contact hitters together so you can lift one a PH if the situation calls for it. If one of the bums can draw a walk though, then you'll have the contact hitters behind them to hopefully drive them in but that's wishful thinking.
  7. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 23, 2013 -> 11:41 AM) I see this over and over again, and at this point (at least with Dunn) that makes no sense. Who replaces Dunn? Seth Loman? By the time Loman figures out major league pitching (if he ever does), you're in June at least. Replacing Dunn isn't a good idea, at this point. You work with him to find the 2012 Dunn if you can. If you get to Memorial Day or June and the team is obviously buried, then yeah, you can start doing stuff like that, maybe. I don't care if Dunn plays to be honest but he needs to be moved to the 9th. Maybe that will take some pressure off. He can hit his solo shots and strike out from there. He has done absolutely diddly squat from the 4/5 hole. I think he hit like a 2-run against Seattle and a double for an RBI but he's been pretty useless.
  8. Ventura has to start yanking guys who play like crap. Starting with Dunn and Tekotte.
  9. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 22, 2013 -> 10:13 PM) They got 2 runs off of him? So that should be good enough. LMAO. No it isn't good enough but atleast they went from 0 runs to 2 runs this time and it most likely would've been more if it wasn't for a base running blunder by Tekotte. I just put blame where blame is a due. The BP is f***ing all sorts of s*** up.
  10. Justin Masterson is the team's ace. They got 2 runs off of him. I know that's not a lot considering the guy's ERA was 1.67. Axe gave a solid outing. The bullpen has to lock that s*** down and they didn't. Tekotte is a f***ing idiot and single handlely killed a rally. Outside the bad defense. The sox did OK tonight. The lineup has to be shaken up. I rather have the auto outs down in the 9 spot. Bat Dunn 9th for the love of god.
  11. Sale has had 3 quality starts. Look for the offense to get better when Beckham and Viciedo return. If Ventura can shake up the lineup, they'll score runs.
  12. QUOTE (joeynach @ Apr 22, 2013 -> 01:16 PM) Thats what he does, a lot, why are you mad at a guy for doing something he has based his entire career on. Either strikeout or hit a HR. I was being sarcastic and trying to lighten the mood. People are getting way to antsy.
  13. Dunn is a bum and shouldn't have struck out.
  14. Doumit was behind the plate yesterday, not Mauer. Not that it takes any validity from your post but it wasn't some All-Star catcher.
  15. Kepp did good today people. No hits but 2 RBIs. BP picked a terrible day to implode. S*** happens; on to the next game. 3 runs should've been enough against the Twins.
  16. I'm looking forward to seeing Beckham back, along with Viciedo.
  17. Does anyone on this team know how to work a f***ing count other than Flowers, Rios, and Konerko?
  18. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 19, 2013 -> 04:45 PM) Mother saying one of her sons was followed by the FBI for 3 years. Teased by CNN before break, interview apparently coming up. Denial is a helluva drug.

    Should I go?

5 people voted for him to be banned if he goes. Tough crowd.
  20. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 18, 2013 -> 06:44 PM) Theres the old Flowers. Atleast let them get a second look at him. Everyone is 'K' ing.
