He was out all of 2014. Those stats are from 2013 but he was almost dominant pitching out of the bullpen in the PCL.
My bad

When is it OK to get excited about Anderson, Hawkins and May?
When Anderson starts walking more than 2% of the time, when Hawkins starts striking out less than 35% of the time and when May has an SLG more than .001 higher than his (BABIP-inflated) OBP.
Slightly facetious given their other talents but there's pretty big flaws with all of them that I need to see corrected before I'm majorly excited.
Guerra ended up 5.2 IP, 5H, 1ER, 3BB, 7K.
Relieved by Zach Phillips who's pretty interesting too, after going 11.29 K/9, 3.66 BB/9 for Miami AAA last year he's 10.38 K/9, 2.60 BB/9 for Charlotte this year.

Need another bat in the 7-8-9 range. This current bottom of the order is awful offensively.
Yeah, 7-8-9 in the order we have wRC+s of 67, 50 and 49 (and then 63 and 71 1 and 2). Gonna find it hard to score runs with that in a row.

Isn't he similar to Andy Wilkins? If LaRoche or Abreu go on the DL I assume Black will be up
Not really:
- He's having a way better season than Wilkins did last year: wRC+ of 188 (and that was before today, 3/3, 3B, BB) compared to Wilkins's 142
- His skills are more of an indicator of major league success: walking more than striking out rather than a power outburst
