  2. Ok a couple of questions. Has anyone made any purchases on blujay.com before? I was originally going to buy a PS3 via Facebook, but the guy wanted payment via Western Union Money Transfer, and from what I read on the internet, that's a very dodgy system of payment. So I'm looking at a Wii possibly again, and found one on the site for $190 with Wii Sports, which well seems too good to be true, considering most are going on E-Bay for around $300. Also, is there anyway of still getting that MGS4 pack for the PS3, as I want to get one that's backward compatible with PS1 and PS2, but unfortunately the new systems that are coming out are not.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 23, 2008 -> 11:20 AM) lostfan = DBAHO I think that's in regards to my earlier post on this thread correct?
  4. And to think about 5 years ago, that team was actually pretty good with Gannon behind center.
  5. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 04:35 PM) I think the NFC is looking alot better than the AFC this year. Some AFC teams like Browns, Colts and Patriots look bad right now. Yeah, Anderson is still dealing with the after-effects from the concussion from what I hear, so Quinn's going to be in there soon. The Colts D-Line has been really struggling against the run, and the Pats well I don't think anyone saw yesterday's result coming. Still the Broncos are probably better, the Steelers will be thereabouts, and the Titans seem like they could be the team to make a jump and really do something this season.
  6. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 04:32 PM) The wild card I think will be coming out of the NFC East. Big blow for the Packers, but they are still the team to beat in the North. The Giants and Eagles will probably end up with at least 10 wins, so you're probably right, and even Washington probably too. So yeah, the Bears may have to rely on winning the division just to make the playoffs. Either way, I think the NFC is stronger this season than the last.
  7. Looks like Bolland is ahead of Kontiola for the 2nd center spot in the top 2 lines anyways. I do like Bolland as a player, he had a massive season for London a few years ago. Don't know if he's got the playmaking skills to be a real good player, but I see a few seasons where he'll get around the 60 mark if he's given the chance to do so. But it is an important season for him.
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 03:46 PM) Now THAT's a big loss. Despite our terrible start, the NFC North is wide open... No doubt, Woodson and Harris were terrific last season. The guy they had replacing Harris did a decent job last night, but Green Bay's defense certainly just down a notch.
  9. QUOTE (rangercal @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 02:58 PM) He's a closet Bear hater. He has indirectly bashed the bears on this board for my entire 3 years here. What ever though, It's fun to debate with him. Especially NBA. Someone has to bring a voice from the other side I guess. I mean, I would just take Galloway over any Bears WR right now, if Galloway was completely healthy. It would be interesting to see how he would do if he played on the bears though. Overall for the Bears, I probably see them at around 7-9 for the season. Defensively they need Harris to start producing, and that defense to really become elite again. I think Green Bay will still take that division, but unless Freotte become an upgrade for Jackson, the Bears could definitely get a wildcard spot still.
  10. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 01:32 PM) That's rough. Learning American and British lingo in the English language at the same time has to be difficult because they are spoken so differently by the two groups of people, despite being the same language. The language was obviously invented over there, but it was perfected over here. No it was Americanized. Of course everyone knows that Aussies have the best sayngs anyways. But back on Hockey, I am hoping to see a few big hits and a couple of fights tonight.
  11. QUOTE (rangercal @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 01:41 PM) Galloway is a has been. 74 yards in 2 games. How many receptions did he have last season? More than any Bears receiver I'd say (of course that really isn't too hard). He's been dealing with an injury also IIRC.

    Let's Play A Game

Boy Meets World EDIT: Well the lead character's name was Corey. Close enough.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 22, 2008 -> 01:32 PM) Well prob around 50 percent of Bears fans are Cubs fans, so there you go. Either way, the Bears are better than TB, they just let it slip away, and the refs didnt help much either. But, s***, Forte is a STUD Don't know if I'd say the Bears are better than TB. Don't forget that TB was missing their best receiver in Galloway yesterday IIRC.
  14. There's too much American Lingo to learn here. I'm having enough problems with the British stuff I have to learn already.
  15. I'm off to see the Rangers tonight at MSG for my 1st ever Hockey match, really looking forward to it.
  16. I hope he stays. He's been a good 4th OF for us all season long, and you would think he would continue to get better hitting wise into the future. Unless you could get a good deal for him (or if he's a piece in a trade for someone better e.g a third baseman).
