Because we already have a version of Tyner in Jerry Owens. It says something that Tyner was non - tendered by Minny who had one of the weakest offenses in baseball in 2007, when their old CF Torii Hunter departed.

I thought Quentin had pretty even splits against RHP and LHP off the top of my head. I could be wrong though.

What's disheartening about acquiring Hamilton, we could of gotten him this time last season. Would have solved a few problems we're facing now.

Alexei Ramirez would be my bet for our next CF other than Jerry Owens. Having Ramirez platoon with Richar and Owens (if we didn't acquire Chris Burke for example), wouldn't be the worst scenario I suppose. As for the trade market, Hamilton's name has obviously been brought up, Nate McLouth could be another option.

Right now I think we end up signing Alexei Ramirez to play CF. With Luke Scott dealt, Nate McLouth could be the other best trade option left on the market.

Lineup; LF - Willits CF - McLouth / Burke 1B - Kotchman 3B - Fields DH - Kearns (would rotate with OF's) RF - Quentin C - Clement 2B - Richar / Burke SS - Hu Rotation: Buehrle Vazquez Linecum Danks Floyd / Morrow
