  1. Wouldn't it be funny if they brought Raiden back in MGS4 as the bad guy Snake would need to fight, and it had something to do with the Patriots.
  2. I think it's safe to say that was another hi8is too much alcohol in 1 night joke.
  3. Baseball America will have the Chicago White Sox's top 10 prospects up in a couple of days, they just did the Royals'. I'd thought it'd be cool to start a thread predicting what the top 10 prospects will be, I thought I'll kick it off. And there'll be a chat on BA too so lets get some SoxTalk Q's in. 1 - Brian Anderson 2 - Brandon McCarthy 3 - Ryan Sweeney 4 - Josh Fields 5 - Giovani Gonzalez 6 - Wes Whisler 7 - Tyler Lumsden 8 - Sean Tracey 9 - Kris Honel 10 - Francisco Hernandez
  4. I think what frustrates Bulls fans though is when you look at teams that sucked last season. Orlando traded T-Mac, for Stevie Franchise, Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato. Now they're 5-3 and look a playoff team. Charlotte in their 1st season, look to have a better frontcourt (Okafor and Brezec) and a better swingman (Keith Bogans). Atlanta still hasn't turned in around, but at least they've won some games and look competitive. The Clippers look much better, and they didn't add much in terms of talent, in fact they lost Q-Rich to Phoenix. And you don't know what the problem is in Chicago. Do you blame the players? Scott Skiles? Jerry Reinsdorf? John Paxson?
  5. Can't see the Cubbies dealing with us period.
  6. Imagine if the Tiggies got Finley and Glaus. Wow they'd be almost a .500 team all of a sudden.
  7. I'll take the Florida Marlins. AIM is Dbah0sox or DBAH0Sox, I dunno go look at my profile.
  8. What was the point in drafting Ben Gordon then if they are going to sign Michael Redd or Ray Allen in the off-season. They might as well just have traded that pick for a veteran center or power forward. And good luck to either one of those 2 if they do sign here because they'll have to live up to Jordan's shadow.
  9. That's IF they make the playoffs. The Vikings usual slide has started early this season.
  10. And that worries the hell out of me. If KW is smart, he'll have backup plans in place, so he won't be held to ransom in this deal.
  11. Yeah I couldn't get over that. I seriously hope the next Metal Gear Solid 4 continues on with the Patriots Storyline, they could take that so many ways.
  12. That was freakin me out also. I was like what the f***..... I almost pressed reset on my PS2 without saving. Eeep.
  13. The days til T-Mac starts complaining have shortened significantly.
  14. I thought I did read that somewhere (possibly in one of Toronto newspapers), but now Seattle and Detroit appear to be intrested. It looks like the Tiggies could easily get one of Koskie or Glaus. Either way it seems to be a given that he won't be back in Minny.
  15. Let's break down their schedule. At Denver - L At Lakers - L At Phoenix - L At Utah - L At Cleveland - Likely Loss Lakers - Likely Loss Miami - Loss At Washington - Chance, but likely loss San Antonio - Loss Cleveland - Best chance so far, but loss Philly - I'm putting this down as a win Minny - Loss Dallas - Loss At Memphis - Loss Milwaulkee - Also putting down as a win Indiana - Loss Portland - Putting down as a win At Detroit - Loss At Milwaulkee - Likely Loss New Jersey - Should win this one Orlando - Likely Loss So I have them down for 4 wins by Jan. 2.
  16. Eric Young looks better by the day.
  17. = Going to the Marlins most likely especially if they lose Pavano.
  18. What team is going to give him that type of deal, considering a - He's 32 years old b - His road numbers outside of Fenway weren't all that crash - hot. c - Pudge only got a 4 year $40 mill deal the year before and was represented by the same agent.
  19. Koskie's 2004 splits. Home - .235, 16 HR's, 32 RBI's, .322 OBP Away - .268, 9 HR's, 39 RBI's, .362 OBP
  20. Wow I can't believe somebody actually asked that, considering the money involved in the 4 players' contract. This little piece about Castilla and Guzman sums up my feelings on the subject pretty well;
  21. My thoughts on the subjects being discussed. Corey Koskie - Toronto have offered him a 3 year $15 million deal, and the Twinkies only a 2 year $7 million deal. Considering he's from Canada, it's a pretty safe bet he's headed to the Blue Jays. Eric Hinske will probably then be moved to the Reds. Nomar Garciaparra - If he wants a 1 year deal laden with incentives, he's certainly the type of guy we should be going after. But we shouldn't just put in incentives on personal numbers and stats, team success should also be included, so if we make the playoffs etc. he gets an extra mill or 2. Would be an excellent #3 hitter for us behind Rowand and in front of Frank, Paulie or Carlos. Joe Crede - KW said he wasn't going to move him before the off-season started and I can't see him getting moved now unfortunately. They want Uribe at 2B or SS, not 3B, so unless a logical starting replacement can be found, can't see em moving Crede unfortunately. If there was some way to move him for Aubrey Huff however, KW's gotta look into that. Huff in 2005 at the Cell, would have a Paulie like comeback season.
  22. It's the La-Lie-Liu-Lae-Lo damnit.
  23. DBAHO

    spin?

If only it was Crede included in the Garcia deal instead of Reed.
