  1. I'm sure it's just as bad if not more so if you were to look at 2B & 3B (pre Moncada) in the same time frame
  2. Adolfo is right there if they want to go with the prospect/cheap route. It's either play him, DFA him, or trade him. I also think he's much further advanced (for whatever that's worth, I'm not saying he'll be good either) than Cespedes at this point.
  3. Yoelqui's plate discipline isn't even close to major league ready. Even this Spring when he's done well, it's 31.5% K rate without any walks. All putting him on the major league roster would do right now is needlessly clog up a 40 man spot.
  4. Genuinely can't believe the strategy of "if all of our best players stay healthy, we'll be fine" strategy might not work out as planned. Oh, well. I'm sure next year all of the core guys will play all 162 games and everything will be fine.
  5. McGuffey and Garfien both essentially operate as a PR wing of the White Sox. They aren't to be taken seriously.
  6. The only player on the roster who *clearly* checks more boxes than Moncada does is Luis Robert. It's strange that people on here spend so much time fixating on Moncada's flaws when no other player on the roster gets held to that same standard.
  7. Routine GB to 2nd turned into an infield single because Romy took forever getting the throw over
  8. He's one of the few options that would be a defensive downgrade from Vaughn in RF
  9. I'm sure it'll be easy for the Sox to upgrade on an in their prime player who's been one of the best players at his position over the last 3 years 🙂
  10. I think Crick would do fine if he gets the last bullpen role which makes splurging for Kelly even more perplexing
  11. That signing really does give off such strong Kelvin Herrera vibes
  12. It's frustrating because if the Sox were a normal franchise, Conforto would be signed within a day or 2. Vaughn suffering any type of injury should be enough to put the wheels in motion. and yet... do any of us really think it'll happen?
  13. Pretty sure I saw him as a pinch runner a couple days ago in one of the TV games. Baseball reference has him with 3 PA's this Spring.
  14. If it's a short term thing, you're probably right. But expecting Engel to stay healthy and hit for an extended period of time would be a mistake.
  15. This also might open the door up for more of Gavin Sheets in RF 🙂 looked like the Sox may have quietly been giving up on that prior to Vaughn's injury
  16. No chance the K rate would be below 40%. He very clearly needs another couple months, at least, in AAA.
  17. They're gonna give Micker a chance to stick if Vaughn's injury goes into the regular season
  18. He looks like a more natural outfielder than Vaughn or Eloy
  19. Jerry is still gonna cheap out and not pay up for Conforoto
  20. Just another reminder that not all of the core position players will stay healthy and more depth is needed 🙂
  21. I really hope we don't get another year from Eloy where his GB rate is close to 50%. Ball in air, man, come on.
