  1. Didn't he allegedly murder his parents a decade or two ago in Los Angeles?
  2. When the Sox played the Rays, didn't you say that slap hitters are valuable to the current MLB game?
  3. If Rodon can be a good #3 or great #4, my god that gives the pitching half of the rebuild a serious shot in the arm.
  4. Alonso is about to get out of his slump. He's looked better lately, imo.
  5. Big if, but if Leury can stay healthy, I think he's a very valuable piece of a contending team in 2021
  6. When Moncada puts this ball into the second deck, I'm going to need a towel
  7. That's not what you meant? It's what you said verbatim
  8. Faldo said he was struggling. You should he CAN'T putt anymore, meaning currently or ever again. You were once again wrong. Own it
  9. Hard not to be choked up, shaking and borderline sweating watching that. Holy cow
  10. One view looked like he was out, the other two he looked safe. Oh well
  11. The one yesterday stunk, too. Bad umpiring is a huge pet peeve of mine. Rarely get fined or suspended for blown calls or a horrible strike zone, never have to talk to the media (usually through a press release if they do at all) and god knows arguing gets the player, coach or manager thrown out. It's fucking embarrassing
  12. I feel like Rodon throws 20 pitches in every inning
  13. I read it differently, more as "I wouldn't have too many high hopes for him because of repeated, poor White Sox development." My fault
  14. I'm not sure I'd go that far. You're essentially calling him a non-prospect with the verbage. He just has to start hitting more doubles. He'll never be a high HR guy. However expecting him to hit .340 annually like that poster said is pretty stupid.
  15. What an unbelievably idiotic thing to say
  16. No, I think everyone *knew* he was this talented. It was about staying healthy for Robert. He is, and that immense talent is on display. I'd have him in A until May 1 and then honestly, I'd skip AA and have him play in AAA until the season ends. Put his ass in CF to open 2020 in Chicago.
  17. Yeah, not many teams win baseball games with 0 runs, 1 hit and 2 baserunners
  18. They're likely wearing black all of these games in order to suck up as much heat as possible as it's still pretty cool out there. By May they'll get back to the greys here and there.
