And in 2019 he played the OF in 93% of his games. It increased to 98% in 2020. 67% in 2021 So yeah, they eventually figured it out. An entire major league organization let this dumbass tell them where he'd play for his first few years despite 9 IL/DL stints from 2019-2021 because they're- again- soft as baby s%*#

To be fair why would anyone good want to come here? The owner is a careless cheapskate. The GM is in way over his head and likely doesn't have GM duties. La Russa probably has more power than Getz and is a piece of s***. The players suck. The farm is in the top 10 in baseball but no real great prospects are in there. They aren't getting anybody special no matter what
