Jose misplays another ball. This is beyond ridiculous. -

Good, I suppose, but the ball didn't appear to make any sort of funny bounce. Omar tried to anticipate a hop but it never bounced into his glove. Dammit. Willie misjudges the wall and misses a deep fly in center. Leadoff man on second, no outs. -

Crede strikes out to end the second. Second time around in this lineup our hitters are going to become even more anxious, (and with the score tied) we'll all be entertained with another popout filled evening. -

Paulie reaches on an error pass Vizquel. Good Hawk comment, "If you missed yesterdays game..........GOOD." Who says hes a complete homer? -

Nice peg by Crede at third. Ball almost gets caught in the webbing again, but crede hustles on the throw and records the out. -

Frank, you guessed it, POPPED IT UP to end the first. Maggs is stranded at 1b (after a walk). Frank is in a mighty funk. I hear Hawk say something like 1-18? -

What? No game day chat? Guess I'll have to make my observations, comments within this thread. -
Yeah, but a double header wouldn't sound too inviting immediately before the four game set in Minnesota.

Funny. On yesterdays radio broadcast of the game, Farmer said today's forecast gave no indication of rain. But, of course, gametime arrives and its pouring out. Not sure how warm it is out in Cleveland, but the weather here in Chicago isn't much better. The Cubs are going to have fun tonight with low 50's and high probability of rain throughout the evening. :fthecubs

LEE, thats how you hit son. (3-3: One double, two singles) 9-0 Sox.

Nobody is "hating" on you because of your neighborhood, because you're rich doesn't mean anything (to me atleast). Its easier to dislike New trier (and the surrounding areas) due to Cub fans inhabiting it. Honestly, to me you're only a poster on this board, there's no need to discriminate rich/poor. Far as anyone on this board knows I could be dirt-ass poor, or living in a million dollar home on the south side of Palos.
-
I'll add that this well known high school resembles that of Beverly Hills 90210, in that all of the rich kids (Evanston/Winnetka) attend it. Since Trier's location is off the North shore, Cub fans likely swarm its "prestigious" grounds. That alone makes Shuf's comment towards Wsox an insult.

Qwerty, I was looking at the thread in SLP devoted to your avatar, do you live in Burbank IL or Burbank CA? (Whitesoxin04 was saying something about going out to Cali to kick your ass) If you clarified it before I must of missed it.

Does she know her picture is out in the public for all to see? Tell you something else, I wouldn't mind you expanding that picture a little bit to the right because the other girl doesn't look bad . Off course I can only see 1/10 of her face, but I doubt there's any deformities.

If it was a Sox fan who was made scape goat, no doubt about it the body would be blown up. Though I disagree about the location, because extinguishing the curse in centerfield brings in no added revenue. Harry Careys restaurant would be perfect for this sort of shameless event -

All three. I have no job until June so I'm cherishing every moment of free time. By the way, nice avatar (Don't know how long you'll be allowed to keep it, but nice nevertheless) -

Knowing Cub fans, the corpse outside Wrigley would only become the scapegoat to another terrible season. -

Welcome aboard. It'd be great if the Sox can atleast pull an average of 25,000 over the next three days. Weather isn't great, but looks decent for the weekend. Today: May 14 Rain 66°/41° 90 % (chance for rain) Sat: May 15 Mostly Sunny 59°/38° 0 % Sun: May 16 Mostly Sunny 68°/50° 20 % -

The following excuses are UNEXCEPTABLE for not attending the cell*: -Live out of the country/state. Leave now, and you'll be at the cell by gametime. No matter where in the world you live, its possible. "I live in Australia, I can't go to the cell....." SHUTUP. -Work. Skip work, Cub fans do it. Being a "blue collared", stereotypical sox fan you probably work at a factory anyways. No big loss. -No money. Work more. -Upcoming finals. You're going to fail, so just take time and enjoy life before your miserable existence drags on. -Family obligations: White Sox is you're real family fool. If you're a man (which I'm assuming all white sox fans are, since women don't watch sports), you will put a foot down and tell you girl to either 1. Shut her mouth or 2. Make dinner. -Sports: Haven't you realized you suck at sports? Everybody is laughing at you, but yet you attend practice and act as if you're halfway talented. If you continue to damper the integrity of this site with your s***tiness, I will be forced to find you...and kick your ass. Quit now. -No ride. Start walking! If you live in the south suburbs (no I won't pick you up) I recommend following the east side of the Dan Ryan up North. Don't belive your likely death will warrant your absense from the upcoming series. Atleast be curtious to the gunmen and leave a note that demands your bullet ridden corpse be placed outside the park. There you go, all excuses covered with solutions to every problem. Nuke and I expect all Sox fans to be at the Cell this weekend supporting the team; so be there. * Above thread was a joke. I'm sure most of you caught on, but just in case a misunderstanding occurs I didn't mean anything I said in the above post. -
I don't really buy into this. Humans have a highly developed brain capable of complex thoughts, I personally believe more intangibles go into selecting a partner then just "attraction." What about personality? Julia Roberts married a man several years ago that was just plain goofy looking. I wish I knew the guys name because he really was a Frankenstein looking neanderthal. Kate Hudson also wed (and had the children) of a man probably not very desirable to most women. A chistled jaw line does factor into what defines a man as good looking, but it undoubtedly is not the sole characteristic in choosing a parter. This reminds me of studies where men search for women who have the hour glass figure because it ensures them she is fit for child birth. If thats true, then how are so many unfit women having children? Similar to the study above, its too simplistic of an answer to what is perceived as an ideal partner. If an individual can "instinctively" choose a man/women who is best fit for carrying their children, then how can a scientist explain a human beings willingness to fly 30,000 ft. in an airplane? It would seem (to me) nearly the entire evolution of man we've been on the ground, whereas in the last 70 years humans have been involved in air travel. Should there be some evolutionary reaction preventing us from air travel? Flasoxjim, hopefully you're reading this thread as I know fo shizzle you have extensive knowledge pertaining to this topic.

Here we go, right here, right now. Full count, runner on second, two outs, bottom of the ninth.
-
Crede is lucky to have a handle on that ball. Though the tieing runner remains at second.
-
BIG out for Koch. 1 out. Though lets not get too confident, he is still one pitch away from giving up a go ahead bomb.

HOW MANY TIMES DOES HE WALK THE LEADOFF MAN? He's not just radioactive......this guy is f***ing plutonium.
