The out of the way hole in the walls are usually the best. I miss living in Bridgeport, but I would be about 300lbs now if I still did. Another favorite was Taco's Erendira on 35th just east of Halsted.

32nd and May St. in Bridgeport. Forgot to add to call before going to make sure they aren't on vacation in Italy. I know they usually shut down near the end/beginning of the year to go back home to Italy for a month or so. I'm hoping that the short hours and long vacations end if they kid takes over the business.

La Milanese. I still like their steak sandwich over Ricobene's.

Garland and Colon?

Thanks. I should have looked up the correct title. Didn't Barely also do the theme song for American Bandstand?
-
Is Barely Manenough and Joe Montana the same person? How about Time in New England? My sister loved Barely so I got to hear a lot of his music back in the 70's.

Here ya go PA. It kinda fits with your current road trip: Last Kiss Oh where, oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to Heaven so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world We were out on a date in my daddy's car We hadn't driven very far There in the road, straight ahead A car was stalled, the engine was dead I couldn't stop, so I swerved to the right I'll never forget the sound that night The screaming tires, the busting glass The painful scream that I heard last Oh where, oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to Heaven, so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world When I woke up the rain as pouring down There were people standing all around Somthing warm flowing through my eyes But somehow I found my baby that night I lifted her head, she looked at me and said Hold me darling just a little while I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss I found the love that I knew I had missed Well, now she's gone even though I hold her tight I lost my love, my life, that night Oh where, oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to Heaven so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world Woh woh woh woh woh Ohhh oh ohhhh Woh ohhh oh oh oh ohhhh Ohhh oh oh oh oh Woh ohhh oh oh oh ohhhh Ohhh oh oh oh oh

You gotta love the irony though. The park they all love so much cost them that play. If the wall is normal height and the foul territory is like all the new parks, Owlou has some room in foul territory and the fans would have been able to see him coming at them. He would have either caught the ball a few feet away from the stands, or the fans might have moved out of his way, or maybe he would have even been taller than them and made the catch. Wouldn't it be hilarious if the ivy costs them the winning run tonight?

Are the Marlins and Twins under 60 mil?

If people are paying extra to have their number unlisted, why can't we just fine the companies that call unlisted numbers? Why can't they make the companies use their company name and phone number show up on caller id like the rest of us instead of out of area? I have no problem with people calling to sell their product, but they should not be allowed to call an unlisted number or be able to hide behind an out of area number.

Sure doesn't sound like it.

Because you didn't pass the PM test. And remember, you want to stay away from the PM with the S on the end of it.

So let's find a place around 355 and I-88 to meat then. There is ton's of stuff around there. Sound good to everyone that usually goes? That should be closer for Steff too. Or we could meat in the Home Depot parking lot on 355 and 88 and tailgate.

I'm up for is as long as the other team doesn't make it to the playoffs. I don't want to sit in a bar and have to listen to those assholes. It's bad enough we have to listen to them in our own ballpark.
-
I think the biggest dissappintment and the reason the season went bad is because we didn't meat enough at coaches time out.

I guess not as simple as you would like to think. I never bashed his religion. I didn't know what religion he was until southsider2k3 pointed out that he was Christian. With how laid back he was, I thought he could have practiced meditating which usually goes with Buddhism. I could care less what relgion he is and my posts were just sarcastic responses to previous posts. But you just can't seem to grasp the idea of writing sarcastic comments and having fun. You just seem to like sulking and wondering when the big collapse is gonna come instead of just enjoying it and having fun. Too bad. I hope you're not too young. Life is gonna be long and bitter for you. And guess what? You're never gonna change the world.
-
But you're the only one offering an opinion. Most just ignored the comment, but you want to try to point out how you are a better person when you don't know me. Why is it ok to call JM stupid, but not say he looks medicated? I think my comment is less cruel than calling him stupid. Or how about you saying he sucks ass as a manager? I don't know what he does inside the clubhouse or in practice to make that conclusion, but somehow you do. If you're going to say they don't know how to play smallball, then maybe KW should build a team that plays that instead of loading up with right handed power hitters. He is managing the team with what he has been given and instead of sitting here complaining like you that the Sox are doomed and it'll never work, I'm gonna sit back and relax and enjoy while the Sox are in a penant race. But you can't understand that because you are hoping they lose so you could say you were right and JM is a terrible manager.

That's what I'm doing. Lighten up a little bummer. Have some fun. Don't take everything so personal and try to get on your soap box and preach what you think is right. Ignore things that upset you instead of trying to change someone you don't know. How do you know I'm not in touch with my soul? I'm more relaxed than JM will ever be. Ask HSC.
-
Ok. I'll just stick to calling him stupid and that he sucks ass like you then. But he does look medicated sitting on the bench most of the time.
-
Don't take it personal. If you don't like it, don't read it.
-
Oops. Heard it wrong. JM is medicated and practices Christianity.
-
I thought JM meditated and practiced Buddhism?
