Slaves?
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 24, 2010 -> 11:40 AM) Plus, since I work for a Catholic television network, they give you $1,000 for every baby you have. $2,000 if you have more than one at a time. If both you and your spouse work here, then you each get that baby bonus.

Dreaming of working for the white sox
QUOTE (Felix @ Aug 9, 2010 -> 10:14 AM) I get what you're saying, but money isn't everything. If it were, I certainly wouldn't have majored in Sport Management with the intention of working for a sports team. Obviously a different beast than going to Harvard with sabermetrics in mind, but there were definitely more lucrative career paths I could have taken. I got out of the sports industry because of the inability to make a living off of it and well.......it prevented me from watching sports. I'm much happier working a regular 9-5 and having nights/weekends off to enjoy my favorite interest instead of turning it into work. But I have a few friends who are knee deep in the industry and love it, so to each their own.

car battery replacement/installation
Hey guys, I know nothing about cars. When I was at the dealer earlier this week they strongly recommended I get a new battery, the one in there is about 6 years old. Any chains you can recommend that will install for cheap? Brands of battery? anything else I should know?

New MLB playoff Ticket procedure
Did anyone else see this? You can plunk down $10 (or $20) to reserve the right to buy playoff tickets for face value. Apparently screwing over season ticket holders. Gone away are the days of frantically clicking on ticketmaster? http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...?urn=mlb,252857 http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/tickets/ticket_rese...=mm_mlb_tickets
