The Sox haven't been shy about bringing players to the big leagues. It's possible they think Burger and Sheets have more trade value in the minors, and that a major league stint would hurt their value. I can easily see those 2 players included in trades.

Jake Lamb would look better in LF against a righty, but the team also needs to give Vaughn ABs against righties to develop. I'm going to play both sides here. Lamb and/or Vaughn against righties ?

It seemed obvious to me that I meant it is suboptimal compared to how the lineup could be constructed. Tony isn't optimizing the lineup. Suboptimal. Grandal over Collins would be clearly more optimal than vice versa.
