I'm pretty excited about McClure now. I'm not expecting a lot, but I like his 6'7 frame. His fastball is around 95 mph according to futuresox. Not sure if that is his max velocity or sustained velocity.

McClure has only made 2 starts in AA. Before this year, he hadn't pitched above A. I don't think the Sox are going to rush him to be in the pen. Stiever getting called up after only pitching in A+ was a disaster. It seems like they view McClure as a potential #5 in the future. Reylo gets called up before him IMO

The Sox can easily flip some mid tier prospects for decent relievers. Think of the Soria trade. He was having a very solid year. All the team got was Kodi Medeiros and some other bum.

Hendriks has given up 4 HRs in 14 innings this year. He gave up 1 last year in 24 innings. 5 in 85 innings the year before. His performance has me worried.

Easy decision. Play Eloy and Vaughn in the OF together. Will it really be much worse than Eaton in the RF? Metrics say Eaton has been great in RF so far this year, but that doesn't match the eye test.

There were plenty of rumors that Madrigal was being included in trade talks this past offseason. Madrigal doesn't have "too much upside". His upside is pretty limited by his 20 grade power IMO. With the emergence of Yermin, Vaughn is a realistic trade candidate in the future as well.

The OF with Robert in it is most definitely better. Everett can't hold Robert's jockstrap in CF.

I don't think many players think this way. Every at bat is a chance to improve your stats which all guys care about. Stats = legacy and $$$. They don't just throw away ABs.

I'm fine moving either Eloy or Vaughn to RF. The offense would be absurd.

I doubt they give up on Eloy in LF yet. He has so much more value there. It was a freak injury. I think it will be a wakeup call for Eloy.
