Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Oh wow, for some reason I thought Eloy was due back later, like sometime in September. That's great to know. Eloy-Robert-Vaughn OF confirmed.

I don't want him back if Yermin is mashing. I have doubt he will be better than Yermin this year after the long layoff from baseball and conditioning. He'll need to get his strength back and get back in his groove. I just don't think he will be able to jump right into it and be better than Yermin. If Abreu is still garbage, then maybe Eloy will be better than him off the bat.

I don't want him back this year if it means he takes ABs away from Yermin. Get healthy, get your strength back, and come back next year ready to roll

5/7: Chicago White Sox @ Kansas City 7:10 PM CDT
I liked them early on in the week, but last night was pretty horrible. Jason veers too far off topic sometimes. There were too many stretches where he was trying to crack jokes and/or just wasn't focused on the game. Len and Stone have been my favorite pairing.

May 7th Games
God damn, Benyamin is a big dude. I'm excited to see him progress.

Rodon
Look at what Eovaldi got. I don't see why Rodon couldn't top that if he keeps pitching like a cy young candidate.

His bat is painfully slow this year. This might be the end, tbh. This is why you don't trade Yermin this offseason...

Do you think you would call him out as much as you do if 1. he wasn't perceived as a Sox "insider", and 2. his political views aligned with yours?

The Andrew Vaughn LF Thread
I still hate the idea of trading Yermin so Eloy can be DH. We all know how great Eloy's potential is. However, Yermin has been nothing short of spectacular. It doesn't look like a fluke, either. He has huge power, works the count, takes walks, quick bat, and has an awesome approach. He'll shorten his swing with 2 strikes - depending on the pitcher out there. He can still mash homeruns with his shortened stroke, too. Many baseball professionals think he is the real deal after what they have seen. Furthermore, DHs don't have that much value. A DH like Yermin with 1 year of experience definitely won't have much value. Abreu has 1 year left on his deal. The Sox should start with Eloy-Robert-Vaughn in the OF. If it is that much of a detriment to the team, you trade somebody early in the season. See if they can handle it for a year, then move Eloy or Vaughn to 1st/DH the next year.

Albert Pujols
Imo, at least give him a 10 day contract or whatever so he can retire under his longtime manager. One last game. Give him the sendoff he deserves. He's an all time great.

Lol, so it was April 4th. Bummer did indeed come in on April 4 though, with the game tied. Balta's timeline is all jacked up. Mistakes that happened in 1 game are spread across multiple games. Edit: Nvm, that one was April 7 against Seattle.

Lotssss of errors in here. What were you looking at? April 2: this was not opening day. The white Sox won this game. April 4: Lynn started, followed by Heuer, then Bummer came in when it was 4-4. April 5: the Sox won this game 6 to 0. Foster did not blow the game evidently. April 13: Yermin started this game, Bieber did not pitch this game. Hendriks did not pitch this game. Fake news Balta! Rescind the likes he got for the post!

I tuned in recently and he mentioned that the Robert and Eloy injuries could be bad karma for hiring TLR. Dude is a grade A douche.

Troll takes aside, my favorite serious take in this thread is that it is the MLB's fault for changing the rules. LOL. That is just gold.

As a former B&B fan, I can't stand Bernstein now. He was an asshole then, but I found it kind of funny. Now he's an asshole and a self righteous, hardcore SJW. He's become insufferable.
