  1. "Thanks Cubs!" edition. Excited to see what Cease looks like.
  2. I'm not sure who said it, but this sounds accurate
  3. Vaughn strikes out, but he laid off a nice slider in a 1-2 count. The vast majority of young players would not be able to lay off a slider like that, especially in that count.
  4. Collins battles off a few pitches with 2 strikes and works a nice single. 2-2 for the day. He's looked good so far.
  5. Because of this, my next thread will be in Moscow Standard Time
  6. We got some Andrew Vaughn action. Collins behind the plate, which I assume will be the case to start the season if Grandal is still not ready. Seems he may not be ready. Adam Engel - 1920s HOFer is getting action as well.
  7. You don't like the humor and seinfeld references?
  8. Only time will tell, tbh
  9. Those gaudy strikeout numbers with his size and the stuff he has... Yeah, i see him getting drafted early. Illinois kid too.
  10. Is there any chance he is available when the White Sox pick?
  11. Walter Johnson's fastball was measured at 91.36 MPH in a laboratory in 1917. He was the best of the best. I'm guessing hitting 90 mph was rare back then, and 85 mph was the norm. Adam Engel would crush that type of stuff.
  12. Ya don't see that often
  13. I have a bad feeling that Moncada will never regain the magic and will be a guy who hovers around a .700-.750 OPS
  14. If Adam Engel played in Ty Cobb's era, would he be a HOFer?
  15. Putting the time as PST? Reported
  16. I understand where Cooper is coming from when he said he was hurt by it. Not by the fact that he was simply fired from the job, but because they didn't even bother keeping him in the organization - even by title. Longtime Reinsdorf employees like Cooper typically are given an emeritus or ambassador type position when they are done. Hell, Gar would probably still be with the Bulls if Michael Reinsdorf didn't take over. I'm really surprised Coop isn't the head pitching instructor emeritus or something, similar to Herm Schneider. Maybe they offered it and he denied.
  17. I wonder if the score will actually take Cooper up on his request to be a pitching analyst for the station. It sounds like he would do it for little pay. He's always good for a soundbite.
  18. Buehrle is just the man. How can you not like that guy?
  19. Tony has brought an amazing energy to the team. He's turned out to be the perfect fit as manager so far.
  20. Kinda of feel bad for him. He really wants a job lol. Didn't expect him to beg for an analyst job while on air.
  21. Oh god, I think he's drunk. He's dropped a couple "pals" and is getting smarmy. Said nobody in the org cares about him evidently, since they let him go - if I heard him correctly.
  22. https://www.radio.com/670thescore The notoriously smarmy interview that is Don Cooper will be on Spiegel and Parkins at 5. We really haven't heard anything from him since he was fired. I'm interested in his version of things, if it was amicable, etc. There will probably be no drama, but who knows. Coop usually causes drama when he goes on the radio.
  23. Wanna hook me up with your login bro?
  24. Joe Rogan would disagree with this statement.
