    Is that an invitation?
  2. Too bad this bum decided to take the year off. He would be a great asset right about now.
  3. @Jack Parkman GET YO PESSIMISTIC ASS IN HERE!! 3-1 SERIES WIN!
  4. If you were on soxtalk prior to this season, you would know. He was highly overrated around these parts prior to his MVP run this season.
  5. Who does he root for in this matchup?
  6. Talk about a disingenuous and clickbaity tweet

You honestly think Mazara is coming back after the year he had. Zero chance...
  8. Looks like it is confirmed that Fegan views these forums and uses my content as inspiration for his articles. Don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have any questions, James.
  9. I'm rooting for the White Sox and Cubs to both make it to the world series. Super unlikely, especially for the Cubs. I want it to happen oh so badly.
  10. I would love for this to happen. That would be so much fun. Of course there are plenty of wimps around here that would hate it because they hate losing to the Cubs more than they like beating the Cubs, which speaks exactly to your point.
  11. He's busting out the curve. Hell yeah
  12. Was that first pitch the curveball? Nasty!
  13. That's the trade-off for his high OBP.
  14. His baseball IQ is astronomical
  15. Sucks that Engel didn't know it was 3-2. He probably cracks that meatball slider
  16. Wow, that's not the best slide lmao
  17. Oof, Robert is in a bad funk
  18. I didn't cheer against the Cubs in 2016 because I didn't want to seem like a bitter Sox fan. I also was OK with them winning because my grandfather was able to witness them win one before he passed. Deep down, I wanted them to lose. I wasn't one of these bitter ass Sox fans that cringe at the thought of a crosstown series. I don't like the Cubs, but I don't have disdain for them. I drank and partied the night they won. I enjoyed the atmosphere on the Northside during their run. To think people wouldn't want to see a crosstown series is just mindboggling to me. The atmosphere would be so incredibly cool. Bantering and shit talking with my Cubs fan friends during it would be great. There wouldn't be a split in the city and suburbs. EVERYBODY would have a rooting interest. A crosstown series would be a dream.
  19. Avi Garcia is one hell of a player. Much better than Mazara. Me.likey.Avi.
  20. Pfft, this is just pathetic. Can't believe so many people are that terrified of the Cubs winning. Strange.
  21. Tomorrow is the last day to call up Vaughn. Are the Sox really going to ride with EE, or at least get Collins up here so Grandal and McCann can both play?
  22. I think Eloy will put up at least a few .300+ batting average years
  23. Maybe the bar being exactly half and half, but not at all. If they both made the world series, it would be electric in this city
  24. Seriously? I get that it would be different this year due to covid. In a normal year it would be even more awesome. Having both fanbases in the same city, being able to banter and talk shit with all my Cubs fan friends during it. Being in a bar that is split in half between White Sox and Cubs fans, being able to share all the positive and negative emotions together. That would be fucking incredible.
