  1. We get it, you wanted your original title to be clickbait so people would think you were shilling for Abreu once again.
  2. We so sorely missed his modern opinions
  3. Why.not pinch hit Collins here?
  4. Thanks for the heads up. Checked the box scores as of late and that team is just not very exciting. Must be why people don't bother with threads.
  5. The only way you'll make him happy is if you provide photographic proof of you bowing to and kissing the feet of Rick Hahn. He loves Hahn
  6. Abreu CANNOT be the 1st baseman next year... He needs to be DH. His defense at 1st has been just atrocious. @vilehoopster your opinion that he is average or good at 1st is a joke.
  7. Ban bet baby! Count me in.
  8. Strip Coop of his Trainer Emeritus title. He's a joke at this point.
  9. Will be interesting to see how the lineups and calls will look under Joe McEwing. Maybe Ricky's lineups and decisions will look better after a couple vicodins.
  10. Disgusting. I hope he gets fined in Chicago sometime soon.
  11. Agreed. The thread title is completely and utterly disrespectful towards me. Close this pile of crap down
  12. Jose showing off his "clutch" gene. Dude just chokes.
  13. Jerry likes the cut of Kotsay's jib. Don't be surprised if it happens.
  14. That's right you schmohawk. Don't dare type my name.
  15. What if he put his hat on backwards and ordered a hotdog between innings from a vendor near the dugout? That would be priceless! Keep Ricky around plz
  16. Greg doesn't just want to win. He wants to win in style. Carry a Yolmer Sanchez or two to bring some character to the team. Hire Ozzie for some hilarious quotes during the epic WS run. A team that is remembered for being equally goofy as they are good. Sacrifice a little talent for personality. Sox are supposed to have WAR machines at every position anyways
  17. IMO you sign Castellanos to play DH and RF in a pinch. He can spell Eloy or Yoan when necessary. If he can play 1st, great. His bat has upside and he is young. Unless he completely bombs his contract should be tradable at any time
  18. Pablo Ozuna is Marcella Ozuna's cousin. We'll know something is up if we see Pablo hired as an assistant coach
  19. Doesn't have the bat for it. Moving Tim to the OF is a bad idea unless we have a shoo-in at shortstop.
  20. GMs are a bunch of nerds. Who cares what they think? Give me ball players over nerds. I'd love to pound on some nerds right now tbh.
  21. I'm hearing Mark Kotsay will be getting the gig
  22. The sad part is Renteria wants the job. Ventura didn't want it.
  23. Anybody trying to change their vote yet? Dude is awful.
  24. I had a good upbringing, good education, and was gifted with above average intelligence. What I could never conquer was work ethic and ambition. I see others with far superior work ethic and ambition. I've always wanted to improve those things. Always told myself I would. Bottom line, I'm just not that ambitious and lack good work ethic. I could be doing more, be making more if I had better work ethic. I just don't. It's something I've come to terms with. I still do well, but I could be doing much better. Work ethic and ambition are real things dawg. Not everybody has it. Everybody knows a bum who has been given every opportunity and advantage and managed to squander it time after time. Hell, look at some players on the White Sox. If they had better work ethic, maybe they would field their positions better!
