Art of Pizza is phenomenal. My favorite "traditional" deep dish pizza. I saw the Pizz'Amici owners started making pizza at home for fun, and they ended up being incredible at it. Weren't even restauranteurs. Pretty crazy.

Do you like deep dish Wegner? You gotta try Milly's. They have a west location and Berwyn location. Gotta order ahead because they sell out, but it's the best deep dish in Chicago IMO. Nvm, not in Berwyn anymore. Only West Town and lakeview.

I wish there were better thin crust options in the west side where I'm at. I feel like the western suburbs like Berwyn/Brookfield have the best Chicago thin crust pizza.

You strike me as somebody who is familiar with how this stuff works. Are/were you in any of the industries that are involved in land transactions like this? Piggybacking on what you said - a maintenance facility is easily preferable to a freight yard from an environmental standpoint. You'll get much less diesel exhaust and particulate matter emissions from commuter trains compared to all that freight traffic. That's by far the most impactful thing to the health of residents. The maintenance facility will have petroleum products and solvents and such, but we don't drink the groundwater here so it doesn't really matter.

You know that the land they're looking at is currently a freight yard? It's not going to be all that different to be honest.
