the old Corbin Burnes thread, we have a new Burnes thread
If they don't sign or trade for anyone, do they have a choice?

Garrett Richards to Boston, 1 year $10 million.
I can see it, and if someone gets hurt or doesn't pan out they make a trade

I wonder if they go with Lopez/Crochet every 5th day. Would be dumb IMO but who the hell knows anymore

At this point with no trade or signing: Gio Lynn Dallas Cease Kopech

Running out of SP options with Q signing.

Mets GM Jared Porter fired
Just seeing his picture in that tweet and I am not really surprised
-
Musgrove to Padres
I wish we would have been the 3rd team involved and brought Lucchesi here, would have been a solid 5th starter or rotation depth for pretty cheap

Sox sign Adam Eaton 1 year, $7m plus option
Cishek?

Sox sign Adam Eaton 1 year, $7m plus option
Let's not put Eaton 2nd. I would rather him hit 9th and Madrigal at the 2 spot which I could see LaRussa doing

Sox sign Adam Eaton 1 year, $7m plus option
Anderson Moncada Abreu Eloy Grandal Robert Vaughn Eaton Madrigal

Sox sign Adam Eaton 1 year, $7m plus option
Really spending that money! So far about 16M on needs while giving away a solid pitching prospect. I personally like Eaton the player better than Joc if he stays healthy, I just hope he has gotten better in the clubhouse and will fit in better with the players we have now. I feel like before we had some really intense guys and they didn't mesh well.

Joc Pederson: How long will he be a future White Sox?
I don't understand the obsession with Joc, he screams another mediocre to bad signing to me. Plus he will probably get more than anyone thinks

Sox acquire Lance Lynn for Dane Dunning and Avery Weems
I like Lynn and he will be big for this rotation, having a possible Gio, Lynn, Keuchel, Kopech, Cease rotation come hopefully June would be pretty damn good. But man giving up Dunning is a blow, he is a very likable guy and seems like he would have been a good 3-4 starter for 5 years. Now my question is who will we get for the next off-season with Lynn being a 1 year guy and Keuchel getting older

Rumor: Sox discussing deal with Cubs/Rangers
Wait, Dunning for Heyward? No thank you, I thought Darvish was involved?

Michael Brantley Thread
I wish Brantly could play defense well, love his bat in this lineup.

Dodgers sign Bauer (3/102, opt-outs, 40-45-17)
How in the world can the Angels afford anything? I feel like they give out a big contract every year

Offseason Targets
You are posting fake insiders going back and forth with each other over nonsense. If its an actual rumor that would make sense to post

2021 Hall of Fame Ballot
As much as I love Buehrle I just don't see the voters giving him a vote, he doesn't have the sexy stats they all love.

Braves sign Drew Smyly, 1 year $11 million
That seems like an awful lot.

Sox hire Ethan Katz per WSD
When Cease threw his change up more in a couple of his starts he looked a lot better. I remember saying in a couple game threads he needed to throw more, hopefully Katz gets him on the path to using his change up more often and keeping the hitters off balance. 97-99 MPH fastball plus his change up which was mid 80s is a great combo. Throw in his breaking pitches and he can be really good if he finds his control.
