  1. This ump is being awfully nice to Fiers
  2. Castillo has made some bad throws today.
  3. That 86 MPH fastball is quick
  4. A tougher inning for Lopez but still at only 60 pitches through 4
  5. QUOTE (daggins @ Apr 8, 2018 -> 02:07 PM) He's not .400 BABIP good. He keeps hitting ground balls and somehow keeps getting by. His first AB was perfect. They throw it outside and he took it the other way, that is good hitting not luck
  6. He is throwing 88, hit the damn ball. That was awful
  7. QUOTE (Scoots @ Apr 8, 2018 -> 01:54 PM) Was just thinking that. If he keeps doing this, I think he would be a good 2-hole hitter, move Avi to 3rd or cleanup with Davidson hitting 5th. Or at the very least put Anderson 5th behind Davidson. Not really sure why Anderson is hitting behind Delmonico and Leury...unless the reason is to give variety of handedness in the lineup. Which I think is dumb. Put your best hitters first no matter the handedness. Also gives them a speed and on base guy towards the bottom of the lineup for Moncada and Avi at top. Whatever Tim is most comfortable with is fine with me, if he likes the bottom of the line up then keep him there
  8. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Apr 8, 2018 -> 01:49 PM) 5/5 in stolen bases for Anderson. Meanwhile Moncada is 0/0 despite having several opportunities to run. We need to send our guys more You mean we need to send Yoan more
  9. I know that was a strike but I think Anderson would have had that stolen
  10. We are hitting .205 with runners in scoring position so far (including today). 3 of the 14 hits have been home runs
  11. Still can't hit with RISP. Hell we can't even get a damn sac fly.
  12. blooper-stolen base-wild pitch-sac fly 1-0
  13. 4th Inning: Ground out to SS- Line out to 3B- Single up the middle (on curve)- Strikeout on a fastball swinging
  14. Another 1-2-3 inning for Cease. Strikeout Looking on a fastball- Short pop up to RF- Strike out on curve in the dirt
  15. 2nd inning; 1-2-3. First batter he left a curveball up a bit, fly ball to LF. Struck out the 2nd two
  16. Cease with a 1-2-3 inning. 2 strikeouts both on fastballs, one swinging & one looking
  17. What do our hitting with RISP stats look like? Besides the home runs and Castillo's 2 run double in KC I cant think of any big hits
  18. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 7, 2018 -> 02:47 PM) He’s throwing 91 mph You don't have to throw 95 to be successful in the majors.
  19. Do we even want to be playing baseball?
