Being from St. Louis it was pretty cool seeing the first home run in Burger's career in person

Watching in person, it has been impressive

I see the offense is still on break

I am going with two people (one 14 year old) that arent Sox fans or don't really care about baseball. We wouldn't be going to the sports bar and I know you can still visit Chicago Sports Depot before the game. I guess just feeling closer to the action has a different feel, I have never sat up top so I am curious how that experience is as well.

Honestly, I have no idea lol. I guess there is just something about sitting down low.

Going to the game Saturday night, looking at Section 533 Row 9 or Section 154 Row 26 Section 154 is $10 more a ticket, I have never sat in the upper levels before mainly because you can't get to the lower level. Is the extra $10 a ticket worth sitting in the corners at the lower level? Or the upper levels right behind home plate a better seat?

When will we start seeing some promotions?

Atlanta loves the SEMO area.

He also added a pretty good slider this off-season. If you haven't watch his start against Arkansas at the beginning of the season, his change up was pretty damn good too Not this past season. https://gosoutheast.com/sports/baseball/stats/2021/eastern-illinois/boxscore/16898

I went to SEMO and still follow SEMO baseball, wasn't able to watch them play EIU this year. It is just crazy, EIU has been a bottom dweller for years in baseball so to see a 1st rounder come out of there is pretty cool. Look for Dylan Dodd (from SEMO) between 3-7 rounds, would love for the Sox to pick him up. I believe Sweeney went 1-3 off him

I can't believe an EIU guy went in the first round.

Do not like his mechanics

Trying to get it bigger and grow the game, smart.

Imagine being a high schooler and pitching for one year than being picked #3 in the draft. Crazy

Wonder if the Pirates will ever bee good again lol

Andrew Vaughn is really starting to figure it out.

All of that for no runs

I mean that isn't a strike but ok

Burger is going to be a pretty good hitter at the major league level

Garcia can cover SS if needed as well. I would rather have Burger in the lineup than Mendick if Anderson needs an off day

If Burger can actually play 2B, I wouldn't mind it being Mendick

Man deciding who to get rid of when Eloy comes back will be tough

And that was a ball? I mean come on

Let's be honest, Abreu chases that exact pitch all the damn time and would have there

I dont understand how umps can be so damn bad
