I watched Rietsma's arm blow up, mid pitch when he was really young, awful stuff. Wood's been really high counts all year, he was averaging 108 per before that game and Dusty leaves him out there even when he's struggling a bit, it's quite bizarre.

I think his OBP is .384, he hustles his ass off and I haven't heard about him getting stoned before the games so I think that comparaison is not fitting.

Juan Pierre would be fantastic but we missed that boat this off season, he is way better than Encarnacion.

If a guy gets traded to a team that has played less games he could play 163+, do his records not count? How about in the event of a tie at the end of the season, an extra game is played, do you count those stats, I think so.

Jon Garland lost this game, period. The Oakland pen was pitching in a 7-2 game so they were throwing so fat ones in the 8th, to end the game, had we been able to get a big Foulke up we could've made em' pay, but this game was lost on a really stupid 3-1 pitch by Garland.
