Yeah I posted those a few pages back. Feels like confirmation of what we already knew at this point unfortunately.

I doubt they reallocate those funds anyway at this point. Might as well swap one overpriced under-performer for another and hope for a rebound.

Except Vaughn was far better in LF last season than Eloy ever has been. And isn’t an injury to himself or others waiting to happen. But by all means don’t let facts get in the way of your biased ranting and raving.

The best thing they could do is drop the regional blackouts and make MLB & Milb games accessible to anyone anywhere on TV or streaming w/o BS platform or cable exclusivity. That would be modern. But those restrictions make money for certain entities and MLB likes that status quo. Making baseball viewing universally accessible does far more to grow the game than altering anything about the game itself.

I’d do that without question. I just want Kimbrel gone for anything halfway useful.

The mind boggling offseason and the lack of TLR-proofing to the roster has dampened my enthusiasm a touch, but I'm sure once we have real games at the park and on TV every day my excitement levels will rise. But I would be far more excited if they added a Conforto, a Robbie Ray, and added any quality 2B. I'm not overly doom & gloom but I fear those errors will loom over the team all season long.

Lets hope they are holding him back to save from injury before a trade.
