“The 78” is alive and well for the Sox, Bears are 'advancing' Hammond development
I can see them staying at the current location with Ishbia trying to develop the surrounding areas and maybe make some updates to the stadium itself.

This is the 23rd time in franchise history the Bears have started 0-2. Never before have they turned an 0-2 start into a playoff season.

9.14.25 Sox at Cleveland
Second time in franchise history the Sox would go winless in Cleveland for a season. They were also winless in 1976.

It's the McCaskey family they have no idea how to run a football team. But hey, a new stadium will solve all our problems! 🤡

Since 2020 the Bears are now 5-27 vs. NFC North.

Defense wins games, it's called fundamentals. 24th game the Sox lost when they held the opponent to three runs or less.

9/13 Sox @ Guardians RIGHT NOW
23rd time this year the Sox wasted pretty good pitching losing the game despite holding an opponent to three runs or less.

Resilient White Sox/AL Central Attendance, somehow up 1.8% YoY for first 21 home dates
Winning solves a lot of problems.

I'm guessing the lakefront groups and conservation groups will start to petition for Soldier Field to be torn down after the Bears leave, save for the columns and turned into parks and so forth.

Genuine progress
Defense is a sieve. Fundamentals...an unknown word to this organization.

First eight games: Minnesota, Detroit, Dallas, Las Vegas, Washington, New Orleans, Baltimore, Cincinnati. Looks like at best a 2-6 start to me.

The Chicago Bears...all you can do is laugh. Once again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Penalty, after penalty after penalty after penalty after penalty. Spent money bringing in three new offensive lineman and they still can't run the football. Went for it on 4th down instead of trying a makeable field goal, possible three points lost. Missed a field goal, three points lost. Compete collapse in the second half. Still to early to judge Williams but I've got to tell you that #1 draft pick used on him isn't looking great. NFL.com says the Bears have the second hardest schedule in the NFL this year, my prediction of six wins could be an overstatement. Now 3-16 vs. divisional opponents since 2022, worst in the NFL. Bet hey let's get a brand new four billion dollar stadium says the McCaskey family! 🤡

It probably will but stranger things have happened, let's put it this way I wouldn't bet your house on it. The White Sox may eventually get a new stadium once JR is gone and Ishbia is willing to pay for it...not until then.
