Have no idea what Love was thinking but it almost cost them the game. They were very lucky there was still a second left on the clock.

When you are 60-102 it doesn't mean much does it?

That was a strong win by the Bears because objectively they didn't play that well. They are still making a lot of dumb, stupid mistakes and they had 11 offensive plays today where they lost yards. Yet they won and that's to their credit.

Well we’ve made it through another brutal, desultory, awful baseball season. The only real question this off season is, what does JR allow Getz to do with labor uncertainty on the horizon????? Three straight seasons with at least 100 losses. That’s the first time in the 125-year history of the franchise that has happened. AND it’s also the fourth time in the last eight years they’ve done this. They also lost 100 games in 2018. The three-year total of 324 losses is the worst stretch in franchise history. That breaks the previous mark of 295 losses from 1968 through the 1970 years. The hitting was inconsistent at best, the starting pitching was bad, the bullpen was the worst in baseball and this team still is terrible defensively and in fundamentals. And they continue to not be able to keep players healthy especially pitchers as they were gutted with TJS starting in the spring. The Sox DID NOT WIN A GAME all year against Baltimore (0-6) and DID NOT WIN A GAME all year at Cleveland (0-6) and at Kansas City (0-7). By the Numbers… Let’s start with the pitching. 17 times the White Sox took a lead into the 7th inning or later…yet lost the game. (This comes on the heels of last season when this happened an incredible 29 times!) I mean how can he be worse than Reinsdorf? I just hope I’m still alive to see it.

And yet another game where the Sox had a lead going into the 7th inning or later...and lost. That's 17 times friends and neighbors this year. I remember a few weeks ago a poster was saying he they thought Wilson was a good relief pitcher. Well OK then. One more day and this abomination of a season will be completed.

10th time this year the Sox trailed in the 7th inning or later and came back to win. But this was an embarrassing game.

You forgot the choke job at the end of the 2012 season.

If JR were to fire him they'd have to 'waste another year' and we can't have that. So he stays.

That's now 11 losses in the last 12 games. So much for second half momentum. 😆

He knew what he was getting into when he took the job. I have no sympathy for him. And he's being well paid isn't he?

Maybe but based on the results the past few years they can't keep their pitchers healthy.

Since some folks were ready to start speculating on how next season will be better it should be noted this team has lost 10 of 11.

I'll be curious to read what those who have been defending him are saying when the Sox have their fourth straight season of 100+ losses in 2026, which will be Getz's third full season in charge.
