What happened to yesterday's Nats game thread??

Featured Replies

Wait, so what happened to yesterday's game thread??  Certain posters can be as insulting as they want to be, and REPEATEDLY insult another poster in several posts (three)?? But then someone else comes on and calls out that behavior and then that thread is pulled down?

What is that?  Come on moderators?? Is "Whitesox2023" (the Getz hater) a moderator. Does he decide that he and other posters ARE allowed to call out and insult positive and pro-Sox and pro-management posters? But if someone questions all the continued negativity and the irony of their insults, then that post is taken down?

What about fairness and objectivity in a forum?

Every game thread is moved to the archive section of the forum. Normally when the next game thread is posted or roughly about the same time. Nothing sinister going on.

That's what they want you to think.

In all fairness to the mods, I think that when the string winds down to two dudes taking swipes at each other, they consider that everything that needs to be said about that game has been exhausted. I've been there many times, and on the bright side, you got the last word.

I move them to the archives either when a new game starts or if nobody has replied in over an hour.  Every day.

You gotta try real hard.  We suspend multiple times before we ban.  And when you get banned first time offense, that means you came in hot and it was not acceptable by any measure

I wish we had half as much power as some people think we do.

Is there a fanbase in the bottom 5 besides the Rockies (sort of) that's not?

At the very least be like the Marlins...lowest payroll in baseball hanging close to .500 into the final week with a very young team in one of the toughest divisions in the sport.

I've seen some forums mods always flexing their muscles and antagonizing others so they can do it.   Some it's also easy to recognized their bias toward certain members. Some of the best mods are the ones who don't participate except for keeping the peace and don't insult.

Then mods in company sponsored forums........that's a whole different thing

I thought the Marlins would be a 100 loss team - surprised they won that many games.  Don't they have an inexperienced GM in his 2nd year?

So has this franchise basically since 2007 if you are being honest.

Go read that game thread again and see which poster insulted who first.  You are definitely mistaken.

Also, the Sox ARE garbage.  It’s not like I was spreading misinformation.  That is both a fair and objective take.  102 losses baby.  🙌🏻

If you post on the last game thread of the season every 59 minutes, will it stay up until next season? Asking for a friend.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gang_stalking

forum mods are actually an elaborate group of ex-Stasi agents who gang stalk posters with contradictory opinions.

you might be a "targeted individual".

I’m flattered you think that highly of me
