  1. Not only that, but he might not even suit up for Toronto. Kawhi really irritates me. Such a drama queen
  2. Normally I'd agree with the whole "he was 17" angle but not in the context of racism and homophobia. People don't just magically become non-racist/homophobic overnight. He isn't sorry for what he said, he's sorry he got caught.
  3. He also tweeted "White power" with a fist emoji and "I hate gay people"
  4. Yeah, I guess I just expected him to be a bit of a strikeout machine early on since he'd have to adjust to the new style of pitching he's seeing.
  5. What's the deal with Jimenez's strikeouts? After tonight, he has 6 strikeouts in over 60 PA. Is this just a small sample size thing or has he really cut his strikeout rate that much between AA and AAA?
  6. It would be kind of annoying if we didn't include money in the deal. It's not like we can't afford to.
  7. I'm sure Moncada feels very strongly about the fWAR of his teammates.
  8. Nick Madrigal has a career 1.000 OBP in single-A ball. That's ridiculous.
  9. They did with A-Rod and Tanaka (not 300+ but still >>> Abreu's 68), and they have an almost comically low payroll for next year, so I'm at least confident that we'll be one of the interested teams. Everything the front office has said on the matter has been an acknowledgement that they know free agency spending is a crucial step in the rebuild.
  10. If anything, you should hope it isn't the Phillies because that's the team he'd most likely re-sign with, eliminating any chance of us getting him. He isn't signing with the Cubs. He probably won't sign with us either but we'll at least make him an offer, unlike the Cubs who can't afford him, have no place for him, and would probably be more interested in Harper
  11. Sometimes I forget how massive our center field video board is. Then I see a video with the old one.
  12. I considered Covey for that last tier but honestly don't believe in his long term ability as a reliever. Even if he's decent with that hard sinker out of the pen, we have so many quality RHP reliever prospects, plus tons of cash, so I think we'll end up being able to replace him easily. I would generally agree re: Fry but he's under control through the 2023 season, doesn't allow home runs, throws 5 pitches effectively, is left-handed, and has a high strikeout rate. I think we struck gold there, if he can stay healthy.
  13. Nah, the Moncada freak outs were after 2-3 games this year
  14. I'll go Almost definitely here (>90% chance): Moncada Anderson Lopez Fry Likely here (50-89 % chance): Giolito Probably not here, but still possible (25-49% chance): Palka L. Garcia Sanchez Abreu Rodon
  15. Basabe is electric. He's gonna be fun to watch down the road.
  16. For reference, the league average OPS is down this year. .725 is the average
