  1. He absolutely should be.
  2. Hahn said he's "progressing well" and that he may force his way into the Majors in the "not too distance future" the other day. So I'd expect him back this weekend too.
  3. I don't think that's what this poster meant by "short bus" and I think that's part of why he got those reactions.
  4. Lol, that was such a weird complaint on the game thread. I was at the game, he apologized profusely to Rodon during the first pitching change and Rodon gave him a few pats as if to say it's ok. My guess is he was just kicking himself for the misplay and wasn't in the mood to joke around with teammates. If anything, people should like that he cares about how he's playing. Luckily, the triple happened right after
  5. And when we do win, everyone is only free to watch the occasional play in which Moncada/Anderson mess up rather than anything else that happened in the game
  6. He had a great start against the Cubs in 16 which was a fun game to be at. I think Saladino hit a walk-off. He was actually pretty solid for us in 16. But not so much afterwards
  7. I'm expecting a lockout.
  8. I thought they made Henzman a reliever for the rest of the season to limit his innings? Why is he back to starting? Wouldn't changing his role like that mess with his arm in terms of how deep he can go into games?
  9. June 16th then. Not quite a month but pretty close. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=rondobr01&t=p&year=2018 He became a walk machine in the games leading up to it. He hasn't been any good since May. Obviously his rate stats in mid-June will look ok since there wasn't enough sample size yet once he started walking everyone.
  10. But they took too long. Rondon should've been gone a month ago. In that time, Gomez could've upped his trade value like Cedeno did.
  11. Gomez and Hamilton are good guesses. I'll go with Thyago Vieira.
  12. Of course, not all of those were contingent on an extension, but no problem. It's possible that these deals sometimes get agreed to but then fall through due to failed negotiations, too. edit- and they may not be reported
  13. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2011/03/players-that-signed-extensions-with-a-new-team.html
  14. This makes too much sense to actually happen
  15. But between Fry, Cease, Collins, Rutherford, Basabe, Adolfo, Hamilton, Rivera, etc. it has gone as or better than planned. Win some, lose some
  16. I definitely remember a lot of pro-Engel sentiment in Spring Training when all the best shape of his life best swing of his life best hitter at the complex pieces came out.
  17. He was very sloppy at the beginning of the year. Over the past month and a half or so, he has looked great, both by the metrics and by the eye test
