Collins has been an excellent hitter in the minors every year (.832 career OPS) so I don't know what you're talking about. It's his defense that bothers me

I agree with the line of thinking but I'd be surprised because Hahn said a couple weeks ago that he'd likely be promoted to AAA in a couple weeks (from then, meaning around now)

It's .263, was .328 last year. I think his newfound skill for walks plus his defensive improvements will make him a solid starter once the offensive numbers normalize. He's like a faster Alexei
Then we're back to square one where you're overreacting to a small sample size that isn't indicative of how he's actually hitting. Nevermind the fact that he has a .341 OBP in that span.
