Jose Abreu

Volstad, Beck

Thank you. I'm tired of people citing stats from like a 50 PA sample saying he should bat as a LH against LHP. He needs more time. He's not this bad against LHP. And I doubt he'd be much better as a lefty against LHP.

Keep politics OUT of Hollywood!* *Unless they align with mine

I think he's a caricature (as you alluded to) to most nowadays, but he still has his base and that's probably enough to keep him going.

Then sign Gordon Beckham to replace that bust at 2B

And Joe Maddon blamed the fans for it, somehow.

I have a weird feeling that Madrigal ends up going 3. Maybe I just hope he does, because I want no part of him, but I think the Phillies might end up taking him over Bohm.

I find it funny when people open up with that. If he can maintain those numbers then he's one of the best offensive players in all of baseball, and easily the best offensive catcher. I'll take the home runs and a .360 OBP, personally

I think we might have something here.

Skole

A .718 OPS in May with negative defensive value. He fell off pretty hard relative to where he was.

Ok Omar!

Wouldn't that be 2 days rest?

Still waiting for Tim's BABIP to rise, I guess. That was a rocket

The problem is when he does that, he just fouls them off. I think this is the kind of thing that just needs to get better, painfully, with reps

It was a solid 2-3 steps into left field. Of course it’s not gonna be a perfect dart. It was a fine throw and a play that any first baseman should make.

In before someone blames that play on Anderson

Avilan in line for the 1 pitch outing win!

Apparently some people actually agreed with the sarcastic point

Anyone who thinks that was on Anderson is likely padding their agenda. That's on Skole.

That's where we miss Abreu at first

Yolmer is a very smart hitter

Luis Avilan is #70

I think it's between Abreu and Moncada. 2B crop is weak, and 3-4 usually make it. Altuve/Lowrie/Moncada and/or Dozier
