Jose Abreu

India is the guy I'd love for us to pick, but I highly doubt we will. I've prepared myself for Madrigal

Looks like a friend of Kopech's died today. Check his instagram story. Maybe his head wasn't in it

Yolmer is better than Moustakas. I thought we were past this

That's honestly kind of scary

Moncada

Anderson

Benetti with a solid burner account joke. Stone came back with "too soon"

The Chicago White Sox have not lost a single game since their closed door, players only meeting in May.

Great play by Anderson!

Abreu still looking to break that doubles record, I see

In hindsight that wasn't my best guess

Moncada is going deep off of Jennings, you heard it here first.

He’s real bigly

I remember him as more of a RF/CF in the past, am I wrong? Maybe it’s the new position?

I mean, he’s neither. He grades as a horrible defensive CF. But the tweet praised his offense as if his defense were any good.

If only there were a defensively competent Adam Engel.

I'd like to think so, but I also think Davidson will be considered, and Moncada too once he goes on his next hot streak

I'm fully prepared for it to be Mitch Moreland. Last year Abreu was most deserving and Yonder Alonso made it over him

He might go #3 to Philly, in which case I see us taking whoever Philly passed on, whether it's Bohm or Bart

Is there a reason for this other than luck? Does he hit the ball in a certain way (in terms of exit velocity, launch angle, etc) that causes these insane variations?

abreu

Yeah, but does that really make any sense? You think he cares about a minor league all-star game more than advancing, or that the FO cares more about it than his development?

He does have a .378 BABIP this season. But even if you factor that in, he is still having a very impressive year.

I think that number is inflated.

What's the deal with Adolfo, by the way? Isn't it time for his injury to be re-evaluated, and for him to either be shut down or prepare to play the field?
