  1. I totally get where you're coming from and I hope you have fun. From my perspective, Moncada being back is really all I need to be more excited. He was becoming watch TV before the injury.
  2. His ERA was 3.00 before his last start, so it's clearly not indicative of his effectiveness over the scope of this season. I don't think that 2 bad outings changes everything. If he bounces back and is sharp again in his next couple tries, I think he'll get the call.
  3. So best case scenario, you see Kopech in September? I'll be sure to save this post for when he's called up in the next few weeks.
  4. I agree that it'll take time for them to get good once they're actually up. But I maintain that you're being overly pessimistic on when they make it here. My guesses are: Kopech: May-July 2018 Jimenez: July-September 2018 Collins: September 2018-May 2019 Robert: Mid 2019 Cease: Late 2019 Rutherford: Early 2020 That's just for the guys you mentioned, not including those like Hansen and Dunning and so on. Adolfo is anyone's guess because of the possibility of a season ending surgery, but if he were healthy we'd certainly see him at some point next season in the majors.
  5. I mean, you're the one who made the post (unless there's another reiks12 who's a Sox fan on there) You kinda set us up for it...
  6. I see, that makes a lot more sense. Wasn't trying to be snarky, I genuinely thought you meant Carlos
  7. I also think one of the McClure/Puckett/Stephens types will end up being a solid 3/4 starter. It's not always the top guys who end up making it, after all. Gotta factor the wild cards in
  8. I think you're severely miscalculating when players will come up. The majority of our top guys should be in the majors by the end of the 2019 season.
  9. Wow. My life is now complete.
  10. Who's kicking Rodon out of the rotation? When healthy, he's clearly a MLB starter IMO
  11. Actually a really smart lineup against Chatwood.
  12. Following it this early only leads to heartbreak. Remember when the Bulls were 3-20, with a wide lead for the #1 odds?
  13. Pretty sure it's routine with all those Dash OFs
  14. Luis Gonzalez back
  15. We all bow down to @35thstreetswarm today.
  16. Kopech isn't gonna be an ace right away. He's gonna struggle this year in the majors.
  17. Fry. Then Jones, then Avilan
  18. Moncada wasn't promoted because of a need in Chicago. And Anderson was clearly ready
  19. I don't know. I just know that he hasn't played since 5/3 and no explanation has been given. Can't be a good thing.
  20. Officially worried about this Luis Gonzalez injury
  21. The Garcias, Nicky, and Palka are far and away our best outfielders, and demoting any of Leury/Delmonico/Palka rather than Engel/Thompson when Avi is back would be an indescribably puzzling move.
