  1. Saladino- usual defense but 2-2, 2 walks, 2 stolen bases, HR, 2 RBIs
  2. I know it's very improved, but is Anderson's SS defense really MLB ready?
  3. I still don't get Jerry Sands' purpose on the team. A situational hitter who actually sucks at both defense and hitting?
  4. Chuck GarfienVerified account ‏@ChuckGarfien Who knows when the White Sox will bring up Tim Anderson, but they've got a really good young shortstop right now--Tyler Saladino.
  5. Rick Hahn says he's happy with where White Sox coaches are at from standpoint of information and decision-making processes in games.
  6. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 30, 2016 -> 04:19 PM) “With the way both guys were pitching, you figured one run was going to do it, so you’re trying to get him in scoring position,” Ventura said of the bunt strategy with Cabrera, who had struck out and hit a soft roller to second in his first two at-bats. “You’re able to get a guy in scoring position and … if you get two, you’re looking good.” SMH OR, Robin, you can let your best hitter swing the bat when your next two hitters are slumping and a minor leaguer the day prior, respectively.
  7. I hated the Rollins move from the start, and Jackson has actually been good lately, but yeah, Rollins needs to go.
  8. We need to dump the trash. Rollins, Avila, Sands... basically the players that bring nothing to the table. Get some new blood, call someone up. Make a trade. Fire the manager. Do something.
  9. Bunting has been proven to be completely inefficient and Ventura not only decides to call for one, but he decides to do so with our most consistent hitter at the plate. Just ridiculous. The Hawks and Bulls are done and the Bears don't start for a while, so we're stuck with this garbage for the summer. Fantastic.
  10. QUOTE (Tony @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:36 PM) It doesn't matter anymore, but Robin just pulled Albers with 2 outs for Duke to come in...against Neil Walker. Walker hits .258 against RHP, .324 against LHP. Someone explain the logic? "We liked the matchup." -Robin
  11. Who pinch hits leading off the 9th for us? The great Jerry Sands? Avisail Garcia? Navarro?
  12. Chuck Garfien ‏@ChuckGarfien 22s22 seconds ago Jose Quintana's run support his last 4 games: 1 run, 1 run, 1 run, no runs. #WhiteSoxTalk
  13. Rollins, Avila, and Sands basically serve no purpose on our roster. Everything good thing they do can be done, even more efficiently, by somebody else.
  14. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:24 PM) Odds Avila hits a HR here? 1/1,000,000,000? Has he even hit a ball to the track this year?
  15. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 30, 2016 -> 02:19 PM) Can't agree with that reasoning. Bunting is a valid and effective strategy. We had one out and two runners in scoring position and our bug hitter up The Sacrifice Bunt: The Real Rally Killer
  16. Great outing for Quintana. Too bad he gets a loss.
  17. Chuck Garfien ‏@ChuckGarfien 2m2 minutes ago Todd Frazier is in a 1-22 slump. Shuck just got called up from Triple-A. Melky Cabrera was your best shot to drive in a run. Why bunt?
  18. Chuck Garfien ‏@ChuckGarfien 2m2 minutes ago If you weigh more than 160 pounds, you should not be allowed to bunt, especially if you've been the most consistent hitter on the team.
  19. dumb move, now they walk frazier and let Shuck GIDP
