  1. QUOTE (Footlongcomiskeydog @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 03:34 PM) It is now June 1st and Gordon Beckham has a higher OPS than Abreu. Looking more and more like Abreu just isn't going to hit this year for whatever reason. Gordon Beckham is also not a statistically qualified hitter due to his 92 at-bats, but sure, keep attempting to fear-monger.
  2. Is Jon Jay even that good? He's left-handed, but hasn't he fallen off?
  3. He then advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on an Abreu sac fly. Video coming soon
  4. watching him run is beautiful PS he was nearly out at second!
  5. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 04:25 PM) Haha wow. As pessimistic as this game thread is, I peeked at the Mets one and they're all ready to hang themselves. link?
  6. Jones again? Burning Putnam for one batter could come back to bite us...
  7. QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) I want to know what this means... Pop culture reference to a popular rap lyric ("1738"). Whenever someone's bill is $17.38, or it's 5:38 PM, otherwise known as 17:38, people feel the need to take pictures and share it with the world. That being said, Frazier's line is 17/38!
  8. Maybe you guys are too old/not cool enough (sarcasm) to get this, but Todd Frazier has 17 home runs and 38 RBIs
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 02:31 PM) Nice job by Duke! +1
  10. I knew Eaton was slumping, but man have his numbers dropped.
  11. We talk about his superior defense, surprisingly good hitting, etc. but how about his baseball IQ? I'm not saying that Rollins has a bad baseball IQ, as his is high, but Saladino's is pretty damn good too. He always makes the right play, hits the ball where the fielder's aren't, lays down good bunts... him stealing second and then third on back to back pitches last night is another pretty good example.
  12. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 31, 2016 -> 08:43 PM) I told everyone this a month ago.. What do I know though? I told everyone this the day we signed Rollins But in all seriousness, the fact that we all knew that Saladino > Rollins so early is pretty sad.
  13. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 09:44 AM) He can play first supposedly. But so can Abreu, Frazier, and Saladino. We don't need him.
  14. Todd Frazier leads MLB in home runs
  15. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 31, 2016 -> 09:11 PM) 100% this. Yes, I feared that he'd hit a tying homer, but instead it will only be a solo shot
  16. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 31, 2016 -> 08:38 PM) DH Abreu 1B Fraz 2B Anderson SS Saladino 3B Lawrie Hmm... you know what, that looks pretty good.
  17. Tonight- good defense, 2-2, 2 walks, 2 stolen bases, 2 RBIs, HR
  18. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 31, 2016 -> 08:36 PM) f***ing Tyler Saladino man!! That is my man, told yall he needs to be starting a long time ago. MVP MVP!! I think I've been just as vocal as you on the pro-Saladino train!! To be fair, the reasoning is quite obvious
