  1. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jul 23, 2015 -> 04:02 PM) I think Shark is dealt before his next start. I'm guessing to Toronto early next week. Well is next start is today. Better hope he pitches well.
  2. The #Astros also had Jeff Samardzija on their radar, but couldn't afford to wait for #WhiteSox to decide on a course of action. https://twitter.com/jcrasnick/status/624275652238266368 Stupid front office thinking they could win when we knew it was over
  3. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/137998440?pa...;adbpr=18479513
  4. Was just about to post this lol
  5. #Pirates looking more and more like natural trade partner with #WhiteSox. Bucs need help at 1B, SS and could use another starter https://twitter.com/scotgregor/status/623552234979217408
  6. Watch as 2015 first-round pick Carson Fulmer makes his debut in the Arizona League: http://t.co/Ah50PBAKTP http://t.co/FwCwbApb5F https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/623502617939804160
  7. Also he's 2-2 sofar today with a home run and single with his average up to .332.
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 20, 2015 -> 06:30 PM) Isn't this just following the same path Johnson's always taken? Go to one level and do solid, not great. Repeat the level and dominate. Offensively, he has little left to prove in AAA. Ya he does that alot at the levels. That's why when people were saying that he needed to prove his bat more in AAA this year cause he didn't do alot last year I was like have you seen what he's done in the minors. I figured he was ready offensively for the majors this year and might do a better job when he comes back up hopefully really soon.
  9. Follow up to last one: Micah Johnson has two errors over the last 36 games. NL scout said he's putting in good work in field. #WhiteSox https://twitter.com/CSNHayes/status/623186812467564544
  10. Micah Johnson hitter of week at Triple-A Charlotte for 7/16-19. On fire since 7/2: 417/.456/.681 w/ 3 HRs, 10 BI, 21 runs, 9 steals. https://twitter.com/CSNHayes/status/623179570473267200 Since the sox are going to most likely trade shark and know the aren't going to make a run of it then micah needs to be back up to the majors. I know his defense isn't great but the most overall defense has sorta improved for the sox but what he can possibly contribute to the horrendous offense might be more helpful
  11. Nate Jones headed to Triple-A Charlotte. In uniform tonight. Allowed run, two hits in three innings at Single-A Winston-Salem. #WhiteSox https://twitter.com/CSNHayes/status/623147135362572288
  12. White Sox reliever Nate Jones has been transferred to Triple-A Charlotte to continue his rehab assignment. https://twitter.com/ChiTribKane/status/623143692967235584
  13. Danks is 8-1 with a 2.73 ERA lifetime vs. Royals. Ventura, Cooper have played the right cards with this start tonight. https://twitter.com/scottmerkin/status/622226156532703234
  14. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jul 16, 2015 -> 11:23 AM) There is no way Sale doesn't go Sunday. Maybe he's getting traded lol
  15. Once again, Jones was around 100 mph w/ his fastball, which he used on all 8 pitches: 6-3 groundout solo HR to LCF K looking Lineout to LF https://twitter.com/WSDashBaseball/status/621486485728919552
  16. Nate Jones is entering for his third rehab appearance. The Dash lead 5-1, bot 7. Jones has worked a scoreless inning in each of his first 2. https://twitter.com/WSDashBaseball/status/621485079806607361
  17. I'm fine with sale not pitching in the game. Gives him rest and now can pitch against kc this weekend. He had the same thing a couple years ago. Went for the sox and didn't pitch cause it was too close to his last game pitched before the all star game.
  18. QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 14, 2015 -> 07:04 PM) Any word on Crain?? Haven't heard anything of late. Pitching in Arizona in a rookie league for sox. 6 games, 6.75 era sofar. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/p...id=crain-001jes
  19. http://chicago.suntimes.com/sports/7/71/76...pitch-star-game Actually in this article cooper really didn't want sale to pitch either. Alot of people was mentioning about pitching the all star game like as a normal side session but I remember a tweet yesterday saying sale hasn't been doing alot of side sessions lately cause of his work load. Also saw that since sale will pitch the all star he might not pitch the games this weekend against the royals and would push him to the cards series.
  20. Whisox05 replied to Dunt's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 13, 2015 -> 01:58 PM) Adam Dunn was better than Sox Adam Dunn prior to his arrival. Who's the last power hitter to actually improve by being on the Sox? I'll go a step further and say who was that last hitter to actually play up to career norm or better with the sox?
  21. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 12, 2015 -> 04:28 PM) Like I said, "leap of faith", "best case scenario". You have to dream a little, but not be kidding yourself. Even if they're 50-50 when they wake up on July 31, they're probably still not going to make the playoffs, but do you think they'll sell? I don't. I think they need to trade shark for sure. Maybe Laroche, Ramirez or a bullpen arm. Bring micah back up to evaluate him the rest of the year. Ej to fill the spot in the rotation. Let saladino get some reps in the infield. Let go or trade of boni.
  22. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 12, 2015 -> 04:07 PM) Yes, 49-51. I have the last 32 games against mostly the division at 18-14, at best. That would be 67-65. From July 31-August 30. Best case scenario 18-12. 85-77 for the second wildcard. It's a leap to think they'll play 36-26 after a 49-51 start, but that would be my absolute worst record not to be a seller. Seeing how the sox are 15-25 against their own division I can't see them going 18-14. They need to sell at the deadline.
  23. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jul 12, 2015 -> 04:02 PM) We can't rely on winning many games by only scoring 2-3 runs or teams giving us many unearned runs. We need to trade Samardzija for an mlb ready bat or best offer. Last 12 games including today have scored 35 runs. Less then 3 per game. I agree trade of Shark and maybe some others if they get any value
  24. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 12, 2015 -> 03:57 PM) Next 14: 4 vs KC 2 vs StL 4 at Cle 4 at Bos Have to go 8-6. When/if the 7th loss comes? Sell. Need to do better then that. Going 8-6 would put the sox at 49-51. Sox need to pretty much when mostly series here on out to have a chance.
  25. Jose Quintana is 4-9. White Sox runs scored in the 9 losses: 1-0-1-1-1-0-0-1-1 https://twitter.com/CSNChicago/status/620331908745048064
