6/11 White Sox vs Texas Rangers, 1:10
You were likely saying the same thing about Grandal 10 days ago. He’s now seemingly hit his way out of the funk. Yoan is still less than 100 AB’s into his season, let’s relax a little

6/11 White Sox vs Texas Rangers, 1:10
That was an obvious strike. So was the 2nd pitch that was called a ball. ump hasn’t been good, but nothing to do with that AB

Right on the plate, come on Yoan. Awful. Got bailed out on the 2nd pitch too

TLR 2022 Thread
If the Phillies aren’t a smack in the face wake up call for what firing a manager that doesn’t connect with the players can do I’m not sure anything will be. Now 7-0 since firing Girardi. I have 0 doubt the team would absolutely perk up and get better without TLR

6/9 GT: LAD @ Sox 1:10pm (Cease vs. Anderson)
Fuck…that was a great 3-2 pitch. Gavin blew it on pitch 4, 97 right down the middle

6/9 GT: LAD @ Sox 1:10pm (Cease vs. Anderson)
Can’t try to backhand that. That’s little league level fundamentals
-
6/9 GT: LAD @ Sox 1:10pm (Cease vs. Anderson)
Well the good news is that we are actually making a pitcher work and throw pitches for once. The bad news is that the team is still bad at hitting a baseball

Yoan Moncada seven years ago
Maybe I’m naive, but I’m not as doom and gloom on Yoan as most (all?) seem to be. I think it’s entirely plausible that the lockout + his early season injury and we are seeing Spring Training version of Yoan. 81 AB’s isn’t enough for me to throw up the red flag yet.

GT 6-4: Sox @ Rays (12:40pm)
Fuck that was close, got me out of my seat. Just missed it
-
6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
I know people like to complain about Jason and Stone’s shenanigans during the game…but this broadcast is sleep inducing. Also, what a world where Danny Mendick is our best hitter
-
6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
Good to get out…but Cease is going to be lucky to go 4, not good. Really don’t want to see multiple innings from Crick

GT 6/3: SOX @ TB, 6:10 PM CDT, NBCSC
This team’s inability to take a walk has almost become a skill at this point. They are putting effort into having the worst AB’s possible. And yes Gordon just adds insult to injury watching this team
-
GT 6/3: SOX @ TB, 6:10 PM CDT, NBCSC
Is it possible Grandal is the worst player in baseball right now? Legit question
-
GT 6/3: SOX @ TB, 6:10 PM CDT, NBCSC
This team is borderline unwatchable. Bad D + 0 offense = a bad product. Unfortunately the owner of the team just doesn’t care. As much as I disagree with the moves that were made by Hahn, it’s painfully obvious that ownership is the problem with this team

LaRussa anthem story making national headlines
You don’t think there is an aspect of self awareness as a manager of a diverse team to not make headlines on a divisive subject? Couldn’t Tony simply DO what he believes in and not go into detail talking about it with the media? Whether it should or shouldn’t be, and however minor, it IS a distraction that could have easily been avoided. And yes, of course when the team is vastly underperforming and Tony is struggling (to put it nicely) these types of things will get magnified.

5/21 Sox @ Yankees | 12:05PM CT | Keuchel vs Cortes
That’s the entire team all year. I’m too lazy to look it up, but this team has to be at least flirting with least amount of walks in a season
-
5/21 Sox @ Yankees | 12:05PM CT | Keuchel vs Cortes
Lol come on Jason…no one has ever pitched around Luery
-
5/21 Sox @ Yankees | 12:05PM CT | Keuchel vs Cortes
Gotta make that play
-
5/21 Sox @ Yankees | 12:05PM CT | Keuchel vs Cortes
Swing at a bad 1st pitch after a walk…checks out for this team
-
5/21 Sox @ Yankees | 12:05PM CT | Keuchel vs Cortes
Huge Harrison…didn’t think he had a shot in that AB. Good stuff
-
5/18 Sox @ Royals | 7:10PM CT
I’m always a huge defender of baseball and don’t understand why people think it’s boring….I wouldn’t recommend watching a Sox game to my worst enemy. This offense is completely brutal to watch. Guys just hacking at anything. I don’t care enough to go back and look at Tuesday‘s game enough, but at least 15 straight innings without a walk now. A team has to put effort into that kind of ineptitude
-
5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 2 | 6:10PM CT
Not a single walk in the game by our offense. Not a good strategy for winning baseball games.
-
5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 2 | 6:10PM CT
I know JR won’t fire LaRussa…but the hitting coach at least has to go. League worst 81 walks should be a fireable offense. Pitchers are probably happy when they see the Sox on the schedule
-
5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 2 | 6:10PM CT
Our offense is painfully bad. Hard to watch If I’m counting correctly it’s been only 8 out of 35 games the team has scored 5 or more runs so far. 3 of the 8 were in the 1st 5 games. 2 of the 8 were in extra innings. 3 of the 8 were losses.

5/17 Sox @ Royals Game 1 | 1:10PM CT
Probably say this every time be does a game…but Gordon’s accent is bizarre to me. He sounds more Baltimore/Philly than he does Georgia/Southern
