QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 10:36 AM) I didn't get killed too bad last night, as my opponent had Cam and Kelvin. Ouch

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 11:42 AM) Whenever there is growing consensus in NFL for a week 1 game like HOU vs. Bears where it is universal that bears will lose I almost feel like that's the sure victory ha. Bears may not be good but week 1 is stupid and it wouldn't surprise me if they won like 40-7 with 3 pick 6s against Osweiler but still turned out to have a terrible team. White Sox Style

Last night was probably one of the best season opener games I've seen in a while.

QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 03:46 PM) I love football. Tonight is going to be fun. I still miss the days of the gruesome brutality of the hits but this brand still gets my blood flowing. With ya there bud, I don't really miss football that bad up until the 3rd preseason game when people start overreacting at the results and stats. I'm pumped for some meaningful football again.

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 03:45 PM) Well if Foster is finished I just have the probably not good Jay Ajayi. Yea that sucks lol who is your current flex starter?

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) Sigh. Death it is. I have pretty good WRs thou: AJ Green Alshon Jeffrey Sammy Watkins Larry Fitz Sterling Shephard Torrey Smith but RBs are Rawls Forte and the Miami handcuffs. Hoping Foster takes over or I find the sleeper at RB. 10 team auction league As long as Watkins and Jeffrey stay healthy you should be solid there, although we all know Alshon. Rawls and Forte should be good after a couple weeks but yea you'll need to find some depth there if Foster truly is finished.

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) Guys, need help. Death is not an option. Do I start Rawls Or do I use one of Jay Ajayi or Arian Foster week 1. Seems like thread consensus is Rawls. I'm not confident Rawls will see many carries this week but from those options he might be worth the lottery ticket. I'd just go with Rawls in your situation.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 11:15 AM) Decker Edelman & Hurns. I'd wait to see what the Minnesota QB situation looks like before starting any of their WRs +1 to both these answers.

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 08:46 AM) Team A rather easily IMO. A gets a better fantasy QB, a legit RB1 and a high-upside WR2. Team B gets a worse QB, a borderline WR1 and two RBs in a time share. Definite steal for Team A. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

Jon Heyman: Sox have little interest in moving Sale or Quintana

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 09:59 AM) Considering the audience is the season ticket holders the team is trying to convince to stick around, this could be an instance of trying to prepare them for the worst. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 10:56 AM) Actually, I don't want a rebuild, and I was definitely in the minority at this thing. I assume they're all aware how the North side has become the only team in Chicago over the past 1.5 years that even most of the older STH want to start this thing ASAP. -
QUOTE (illinilaw08 @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 09:54 AM) Two very different roster decisions in two leagues - both are 12 team leagues, neither are PPR: The first is my main league. It's a keeper league with rampant trading. I kept Watkins, Cooper, and Bell and lucked into Antonio Brown. Because of the keeper league, RBs were very sparse. I have Deangelo Williams, so I'm covered through Bell's suspension, but my options for the 2nd RB spot are: Forsett Yeldon Duke Johnson I'm leaning toward Forsett because he's probably the starter there - at least until Dixon gets back. Duke Johnson has less value since it's not a PPR league. I don't have any idea as to how the Jags backfield shakes out, but sounds like Ivory is going to get the first crack at carries. Not feeling great about the RB situation there though. The second league, I have to pick two to start out of: Lamar Miller David Johnson Deangelo Williams I kind of feel like this one is a close your eyes and pick 2 type of decision... Definitely Forsett until he gives you a reason to panic. The other 2 won't see the field all that much. 2nd league you're golden at RB

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 09:38 AM) KC doesn't play the run well so Woodhead will be fine. Rivers will dump off to him a lot. Houston is out, Mauga is out and Hali will be limited. That's 3 of their 4 starting LBs I'm just hesitant to play him since last year Woodhead only had 1 pt against KC defense. I read somewhere they are good against receiving RBs so I think I'll opt to play Wheaton.

QUOTE (knightni @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 09:23 AM) I thought the same thing. I pulled the trigger and fingers crossed Wheaton breaks out so I can use him all year.

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 01:35 PM) 12 Team PPR League QB-Ben Roth RB-Lamar Miller RB-Matt Forte WR-Dez Bryant WR-Keenan Allen TE-Delanie Walker FLEX-Danny Woodhead DEF-Broncos K-Stephen Gostkowski Bench: QB-Andy Dalton WR-Michael Sanu WR-Michael Thomas WR-Markus Wheaton RB-Theo Riddick RB-Jerick McKinnon TE-Jordan Cameron I really feel like my Flex spot is my weakest right now but I'm not sure who will emerge as my top FLEX candidate from what I have, hopefully I fine a QB hungry team that I can dangle Dalton out too if he continues playing the way he did last year. EDIT: Oh and any feedback would be welcome! I'm really leaning towards starting Wheaton over Woodhead in the Flex. I think him being the #2 receiver in Pitt now will help me and Woodhead is facing a tough D in KC. Any thoughts guys?

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Sep 7, 2016 -> 12:29 AM) 12 Team 0.5 PPR League QB Cam Newton (5th) RB Todd Gurley (1st) RB C.J. Anderson (3rd) WR Allen Robinson (2nd) WR T.Y. Hilton (4th) WR Michael Floyd (6th) FL Rashad Jennings (7th) FL Stefon Diggs (8th) TE Zac Miller (13th) DEF Broncos (12th) BE Christine Michael (9th) BE Torrey Smith (10th) BE Tajae Sharpe (11th) BE Darren Sproles (14th) BE Matthew Stafford (15th) Thoughts? Obviously TE is a huge concern and will be a focus area on the waiver wire. I also have some worries about my WR3 & WR4 (Floyd & Diggs), but don't think either was a huge reach where selected and both have significant upside. And I was ecstatic to get Michael in the 9th & Sharpe in the 11th, two guys I had targeted in the 9 to 11 range. Top heavy squad, I think Torrey Smith might end up being a better FL option than Diggs, since I have no confidence in Hill to have long, sustained drives to get Diggs the ball. Zac Miller isn't ideal but if the Bears system doesn't change substantially from last year I see no reason he won't be targeted a good amount, as long as he stays healthy I think you'll be ok there. Jennings is supposed to get more goal line carriers this year but I felt like I read that last year so he's a guy I wouldn't start. I think Michael should start with Rawls being set to RB2 on Seattle's depth chart.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Sep 5, 2016 -> 04:03 PM) Haha I grabbed Josh Gordon too. I hate my team though. 10 team league, PPR. I picked last as well. QB - Aaron Rodgers WR - A.J. Green WR - Julian Edelman WR - Allen Hurns RB - Devonta Freeman RB - DeAngelo Williams TE - Rob Gronkowski W/R/T - Matt Forte K - Justin Tucker DEF - Cincinnati Bench RB - Jeremy Hill RB - Derrick Henry RB - T.J. Yeldon WR - Josh Gordon WR - Stefon Diggs TE - Dwayne Allen When Le'Veon Bell comes back, I'm screwed. I hope Hill bounces back. I like your squad SoxAce,I think you have a real nice starting lineup once Bell comes back because you can slot Forte in RB2 and put in Allen in your Flex, I think he's going to be a goal line contributor which is great. Althought I'm not too high on your RB depth, but we'll see what surprises come out on the waver wire. Diggs is a real hit/miss. He had a nice 3 game stretch last year but he cooled down late last year and Hill/Bradford doesn't scream exciting so we'll have to see if you can pick up some surprises the first couple weeks to stash.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 6, 2016 -> 08:17 AM) I didn't get any feedback on my team. What are your guys thoughts? I know I'm kind of weak at WR and TE. I think you got a real solid squad, your RB's are nice and even out with your weaker WR group but overall a strong lineup. Allen at TE should be a steady contributor at minimum.
