  1. Fletcher still can’t hit, should have beat the relay.
  2. Why is Tauchman wearing #21 with no name?
  3. Pretty good pitching though, I was hoping for 1 win, now we probably have to sweep Baltimore to avoid 100 losses.
  4. Cleveland robbed us with great plays all series and did the same thing when they played us at The Rate.
  5. Dominick Fletcher can’t hit a lick.
  6. As Schiriff said, it was a brain fart.
  7. We need a win. I’m willing to bet that the Cleveland club and the Twins have had more uni changes than any other teams since the early 60s when the Twins moved to Minny.
  8. He does look a little tired at the minute. They might be giving him some extra work on playing first base. I’d like to know what their plan is with, I think they want him at 1B and it pissed me off that they had him at 2B last night as Monty started the game on the bench.
  9. But at one point this year he was the best hitter in MLB with an 0-2 count.
  10. Colovito had 41 homers in 1958 and 1959 and then in one of the worst trades in history former White Sox GM Frank Lane traded Colovito to Detroit for singles hitter Harvey Kuenn, fans in Cleveland almost rioted when hearing of the trade. In the next 3 seasons in Detroit Rocky hit 35, 45 and 37 homers. Larry Doby came close in the mid 50s having the middle season with 29 homers.
  11. He has to do something, we have a good core of young players to build on. The best thing of course would be for him to bite the bullet and sell out to Ishbia.
  12. Yeah but born on the Southside, Mom’s family were big Sox fans. Moved out of Wrigleyville in 1952 and moved to Rogers Park where I really grew up.
  13. One run in 2 nights ain't going to win many games.
  14. In all fairness the team we have seen since July 1st is much better than the team we had on opening day, let’s hope they can build on the second half success going to 2026 and they sign some quality free agents.
  15. We did the same thing in the first with only a run scored, need to get more this time.
  16. Baldwin replaced by Taylor in CF, Brooks must be hurt.
  17. Watched the Cubs game this afternoon, their’s are really lame. .
  18. I agree, Sosa needs to be at first base, come Spring Training the manager and coaches need to work full time with Sosa and by the time the regular season starts he will hopefully be at the least a serviceable first baseman. I like an infield of Vargas at 3B, Monty at SS, Meidroth at 2B and Sosa at 1B with Mead the utility guy.
  19. Exactly, where was Teel going, changes the inning around as the Sox could have had a big crooked number.
  20. Definitely a streak hitter, if he was more consistent he’d probably be worth the 15 million they’re paying him.
